Hello, my name is Samantha.

I am the Registered Care Manager here at Falcon-Care.

Falcon-Care has recently expanded its services to the Preston and South Ribble areas, allowing me the exciting opportunity to develop and grow our new Preston Branch and manage our Blackburn branch.

I have worked in the Health and Social Care sector for 19 years.  My experience covers a variety of settings that include Domiciliary Care, Complex Care, Residential and Nursing Care.

I initially became interested in Health and Social Care when a friend of the family worked at the senior level in a Nursing home in my village. I have always had a keen interest in helping others, and I wanted to explore this further. I was offered a position as a care assistant working on an Elderly Mentally Infirm (EMI) Unit, working alongside qualified mental health nurses supporting individuals with advanced dementia. Working on the EMI unit was very challenging and distressing at times; however, I found an intense sense of job satisfaction.

It has been uphill from there. I started to explore other avenues in health and social care, which allowed me to develop my skills and knowledge, along with completing the required qualifications.

Over the course of my career in health and social care, I have developed the required knowledge and skills to excel in all aspects of my role. Allowing me to explore my passion for quality and compliance, which has been evidently demonstrated throughout my career. Multi-site management has been key to my professional development, allowing me to develop the business and adapt agreed ways of working to encourage cultural change, promoting continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

Exploring different sectors in health and social care has allowed me to keep my continuous professional development current by completing my QCF Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services qualification. My goal is to gain my Level 7 qualification and progress at Falcon-Care.

My passion is to ensure that individuals receive high-quality care that is focused on meeting their individual needs through a holistic approach. I am a big believer that effective communication, empowerment, and supporting a team are key to success.

When I’m not working, I love to spend time with my partner and my children. I enjoy going on country walks, family activities, reading and socialising with friends/family.

I am looking forward to my future with Falcon-Care, growing and developing a fantastic team, and providing high-quality care.

Hello, I’m Andrea,

I have a good experience of working in the care sector for over ten years, I have worked in Rest homes, Care homes, Nursing homes, an EMI unit and Dementia homes, I have covered a lot of different roles within these homes, I have been a carer, a Senior, an activities co-ordinator, I’ve cooked and helped with housekeeping, so I have knowledge to cover most bases and how important each role has in care and how they work closely alongside each other.  I have also worked as a domiciliary carer.  I strive to achieve the best care possible to enable people to fulfil their lives, remaining in their own homes.

Health and social care is something I am passionate about, as at the age of 15, I had my first taste of care, supporting my grandmother when she came to live with us. This showed me which way my career was going to go, helping those less able than myself. I love to learn new things and be able to support a team to encourage them to achieve high standards.

I have 2 children, boys, who mean the world to me. They keep me busy with their crazy personalities. I wouldn’t have them any other way.

In my spare time, I am a huge rugby league fan; one of my children plays rugby himself; therefore, rugby is quite a big part of our lives. I also have a weakness for musicals.

My goals are to learn as much as I can in the care sector, to complete my level 4 & 5 in Health and Social Care, and to widen my knowledge and be able to progress within the company when the opportunity arises.

Hello! My name is Jade and I am the Care Co-ordinator at Falcon-Care Blackburn.

I have recently joined Falcon-Care, and I’ve settled in well with the team.

I have a passion for care and love to help people in need. I have worked in care previously as a community care assistant & a care assistant in a care home. My aim is to ensure I support all the staff & clients here at Falcon-Care in every way. I will be the first point of contact for all staff & clients. Don’t hesitate to call the office to speak to me!

In my social life, I love to spend time with my fiancé and also my family, but especially my little Niece, she is the light of my weekends. I love to read books, binge-watch TV series and have a good scroll on TikTok!

Hi there! My name is Sumeya

I have just joined Falcon-Care as a Care Supervisor and am very much looking forward to being part of the team. I have worked in the care sector for 3 years and enjoyed every part of it, working in a residential home as a Carer. Becoming a Supervisor is a new role for me, but I am eager to learn and be a part of Falcon-Care. Since working in care, I have realised I have a genuine passion for looking after and supporting those in need. As a supervisor here at Falcon-Care, I will ensure to support all our carers and clients, providing guidance and support.

Socially, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going out on days out and making forever memories with them all. I’m a big fan of watching the soaps on TV and love a good comedy film. I have a very big, sweet tooth and constantly eat snacks!!

Hi, my name is Josh, and I am the office administrator here at Falcon Care Blackburn.

The beginning of my journey in care started when I was a child and wanted to help my stepmum look after her nanna, who had dementia. I always knew that my future career would involve helping people in some way. I worked in a care home for some time, but for me, personal development and progression were definitely the goals. So I decided to venture into a role that was better suited to me. I am also doing my degree in Psychology and Counselling.

Outside of work, I like to have fun, go on holidays, nights out and spend time with loved ones. Having a family is important to me in the future, but for now, building my career is a priority and being a part of a community that sets out to help others is the right path for me to be on.
