Helping Hands is able to tackle an enormous range of jobs through the skills of their workforce, and I very much appreciate their kindness and positivity. I have found it hard to accept that I need help, but the carers have coped with that sympathetically and patiently, making their visits more and more useful and pleasant. The cooking and the trips out have been excellent. They have done their best to exercise our ex-gundog springer spaniel, not easy in this residential area. Many thanks to you all for enabling me to stay in my home. I could not do it without you.
Thank you for taking the time to share your kind and thoughtful feedback. We are truly grateful for your generous words and are pleased to hear that our team has been able to support you in a way that is both meaningful and reassuring.

My mother is visited every week by Tracey. This consistency in carer is hugely important to her - without it I do not think the care would work for her. Tracey is a fantastic support - kind, sensible, practical and reliable. I am so grateful to her for her help.

Take me to appointments, etc. Go to the shops for me. I'd be lost without them.
The carers come twice a week for 1/2 each visit. They cream my feet and often soak them first, which is why I need help as I cannot bend easily now.
I am very pleased with all the care I receive from Helping Hands. The love and care bestowed on us both when my husband was still alive took so much pressure off me and my family. I appreciate the care and support I still get.
I have had visits from carers since early last year. They have all been kind and very pleasant. It is nice to have a variety of ladies come in to get my lunch and do various jobs. Some days they are the only people I see. They are all kind and helpful.
The carer has been friendly and has encouraged me to become involved in activities such as jigsaws and drives around the district. I would prefer visits in the morning if possible.

Meet the Team (1)
Hi, I‘m India, Branch Care Manager at Cheltenham. I‘ve worked in home care since 2012, joining Helping Hands the same year. I lead our team to provide person-centred care, promoting independence, choice, dignity, and privacy. I also recruit carers and work with healthcare professionals to ensure high standards.
Outside work, I love spending time with my partner and our two dogs, exploring the countryside, staying active, seeing family and friends, and playing netball in Worcestershire.
