Service is good, but so far the carers have not really bonded with the client. Hopefully this will improve with time. Previously we have had some excellent carers which is why I stay with Helping Hands.

Generally excellent and reliable service, as it has been all year. The carers have made are my mother is comfortable and well looked after. They have been alert to any changes in her condition or particular needs which need attention, medical or otherwise. My mother is very happy with the care she is receiving.

My mum is very pleased with all the care she has received. She tends to have the same carer when possible which is better for her and she really likes her carer who is professional, kind and caring and who enjoys a laugh with my mum.
I have also been very pleased with the carer's vigilance around my mum's medication and the quick response when my mum was not there at a visit time.
It has also been very easy to deal with the admin side of matters. Requesting extra visits at short notice has been dealt with so efficiently and rotas are sent out promptly. Billing has been accurate and clear.
All in all a great service-thank you.

Our uncle was in need of extra help with domestic chores. As a family we went and cleaned our uncle's house to the best of our ability in a weekend. When we next visited the house it was immaculate and had been kept up to cleanliness we had left it if not better. The carers have made an excellent job and we were so pleased with their efforts. We will be due to visit soon and hope to see the same results as before. Thank you.
He went out with friends without telling anyone, the carers were very quick to let us know, and tried looking for him. Luckily he returned home, non the wiser about all the panic he'd caused.
I would highly recommend this company.
Caring staff both on the front line and in the office.
Office staff are very helpfull too.
The carer who visited my father was very caring and friendly. She quickly put him at ease and made every effort to ascertain and then meet his needs. The pre-assessment was thorough and again my father was put at the heart of the process by the assessor.
My uncle has received the care and support of the Helping Hands Enfield team for a long time now. All his daily needs are met, and his flat is warm, clean and tidy. The carers try very hard to get him out for a short walk or go shopping, but unfortunately, he rarely engages with anything. They know him well and understand all his issues and struggles with life. He has a long history of poor mental health and subsequently, his behaviour is extremely challenging to deal with. The support I received personally from the manager and other staff members is really appreciated too. There are times when I contact them just to ‘offload’ after dealing with my uncle, without their help I don’t think I would cope with him and I thank them for that support.
The Helping Hands team are the absolute best! Nothing is too much trouble, and they do all they can to keep their clients happy; they pay attention to detail and understand that even the smallest of requests matter. My mother-in-law has regular visits from the same carer who helps her to go out for walks locally, takes her shopping or to the bank and helps with light cleaning and meal preparation as needed. This has made all the difference, and the support she gets helps her to maintain her independence in her own home. The carers are kind, professional and reliable, and the personal touches mean a lot. Special mentions to the care coordinator and our favourite carer, but the rest of the team are amazing too. I have nothing but good things to say about this exceptional team. Last year we also organised short-term live-in care through Helping Hands following a hip operation, this is done through a different team, but again the standard of carers and the service provided was excellent.
The whole team at Helping Hands Home Care (Enfield) have been excellent in all respects, going far beyond what I would expect and demonstrating that ‘care’ is much more than just doing a job. They have made a huge difference and I would give 6 stars if I could. That goes for the manager, and staff who have all be great. Particularly appreciate the advice and support to make informed decisions about what to do next.
Best wishes.
I had been using another agency for a fortnight and it wasn't reliable. A friend recommended Helping Hands Home Care (Enfield). They couldn't have been more helpful, they came round the next day to chat and by lunchtime I had a full rota. The three carers started the next working day and have been first class, kind, chatty and efficient. My Mum is happy, well looked after and nurtured. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this service. My mind is at rest, having been the sole carer for so many years and now my ill health putting a stop to that it is a complete weight off my mind. I wish I'd done it before.
Thank you ever so much for leaving this glowing review! I'm beyond thrilled to hear how we've been able to put your mind at rest as your mum is happy and well looked after by our carers. Your kind words mean the world to us - always happy to help!
Best wishes,
