Helping Hands in Oxford have been sending carers to help with my 93-year-old mother's personal care for the past few months, as she has early-stage dementia and major mobility problems. They are excellent, really good at their job, and it has made a difference to my mother's health and wellbeing. (And mine!) The carers are well-trained and cheerful, bringing positive energy into the house. I have used other agencies in the past and this experience is by far the best. The office staff are also very supportive and helpful, responding to needs efficiently. Highly recommended!
The Carers turn up during the specified time window this cuts out the stress of waiting. The Carers are polite and efficent. Recently at short notice due to my mother's health I have been able to make changes to visits within a 24 hour window.
And support they give us,they are flexible, caring, consistent and professional,
They are so helpful in every way when offering care and support .
The Oxford branch of Helping Hands Home Care supported my Aunt through the last months of her life. They were respectful to her wishes, compassionate, and maintained her dignity at all times, the standard of care was excellent. They were also very supportive to myself, nothing was too much trouble. The carers are well supported by their manager who has excellent leadership skills. I would highly recommend and happily use this company again.
An excellent service. The carers tended to my late wife with great kindness and have since been reliable friendly and caring in their support of me. My daughters appreciate the efficiency of the administration and are delighted to be able to feel so confident in the service provided.
Thank you so much for leaving such a lovely review! I'm ever so pleased to hear how our carers tended to your late wife with such kindness and compassion, and that your daughters appreciate the service we provide. We can't thank you enough for your kind feedback and I'll be sure to pass it on to the rest of the team.
Best wishes,
My husband became increasingly unwell with pulmonary fibrosis at the latter part of 2021. We were recommended Helping Hands as care providers and from the beginning, we found the carers and those who were responsible for the care plan sensitive, adaptable and efficient with regard to the patient and relatives. I would recommend Helping Hands without hesitation.
Best wishes.
All of the carers who visit are respectful and pleasant in manner and arrive on time. They are always happy to perform any requests I may have for example to help me shower and to help me choose my outfit for the day. I am very happy with the help and support they provide.
Best wishes.
I am very happy with Helping Hands who have provided friendly, caring carers and very good communication with me about my mum. Any issues are reported promptly and dealt with compassion and kindness. You feel confident that the carers organising everything in the office are hands on and making sure everything is working seamlessly and according to safeguarding regulations.
Best wishes.
The carers we had for my mum for a three week stay with us were excellent. They came when they said they would, provided all of the services that we asked for, and established a great rapport with mum. We would definitely use Helping Hands again.
Thank you so much for leaving this fantastic review. I'm delighted to hear how pleased you are with our service and that our carers established a great rapport with your mum. I'll be sure to pass on your excellent feedback to the rest of the team.

I began my care career in 2019 and joined Helping Hands in 2021 as a Care Assistant.
In December 2022, I became Registered Manager for the Oxford branch. I assess client needs, create care plans, and manage a dedicated team of carers. I oversee budgets, ensure service quality, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
Outside work, I enjoy family time with my husband and two children, as well as reading - I’m often called a bookworm!
