I started my employment with Lica Homecare as a Team Leader I then achieved promotion to Deputy Manger and then to Registered Manager. I hold a BA (Hons) in Education and Social Services and I am currently working towards my SVQ4. It is my belief that care should be delivered that is person centred and honours the choices of the service user whilst valuing the staff team delivering that care. I joined Lica Homecare because they share this ethos.

I started Lica Homecare because I have over 20 years of experience in the Care Sector in various roles. This experience has shown me that I have a passion for working in care however, it also highlighted to me the standard of care being delivered could be improved upon. I felt that by starting my own company I could provide person centred care that viewed each service user as an individual with their own personality and ideas that should be embraced and valued.
