Sadly, the experiences I had navigating the home care agencies of Bradford were less than positive. Rather than settling for mediocrity, I used these experiences as inspiration to set a new standard for local care. Home-Care Perfection is a business that meets these high expectations by never losing sight of our service users’ needs. Our principal belief is that when it comes to supporting your loved ones in their time of need, nothing short of perfection will suffice.
I have approximately 30 years of experience in the care industry, and I can genuinely say I have loved every minute of it. I have worked in various roles, starting as a care assistant and progressing all the way up to Registered Manager. My current role at Home Care Perfection includes regularly monitoring the service, ensuring it runs safely and effectively for our clients, and complying with industry legislation, if not exceeded.
I also ensure that the care team receive appropriate training to provide excellent quality care. I aim to exceed our clients’ expectations by developing a holistic, person-centred approach to care delivery, with a focus on promoting independence for everyone.
My empathetic nature drives my desire to enable people to achieve fulfilling, independent lives whilst remaining in their own homes.
I have worked in a variety of areas but I always felt something was missing. When Covid arrived I began my first role as a care worker and it was the best decision I ever made – I felt and still feel fulfilled. I have always been a naturally caring and compassionate person so I feel this role is made for me. I have worked hard on my journey and learned various tasks in my position, resulting in my recent promotion and continued learning and development. The feeling I get when person-centred tasks are planned and in place is so amazing! The service user is getting the support they need, the care staff are able to carry out their duties with ease because all the information they need is current and informative and I have created this. My current role allows me to create person-centred care plans, as well as meet all the lovely new clients we acquire. I can easily and honestly say I am in my dream job! When a client takes that first step towards their independence, that is an accomplishment for them and myself, I helped to get them there. Most days I go home thinking I have achieved something today, this acts as my motivation to go back the next day and do it all again.
I began my career in the care sector as a support worker, where I developed a strong foundation in delivering compassionate, person-centred care. Over time, my passion for helping others and my commitment to high standards led me to progress into my current role as a Care Coordinator.

I have 6 years in the care industry. I previously worked in a care home with adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. We supported clients with mental health issues, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders and autism. I got great joy out of being able to help them gain access to the community, and it was very rewarding. I loved being able to provide the best person-centred care to tailor to their specific needs. My current role at Home Care Perfection is Admin / Compliance Officer, the duties I complete include making calls to clients or their families every month to see if everything is ok and to the staff to see if everything is ok with them. Home Care Perfection allows me to learn new skills in order to complete my job to the best of my ability. I am looking forward to my future with Home Care Perfection and developing my skills, but also learning new skills.
