Outstanding respect and gentleness for my husband and myself. Spoke to my husband and obtained consent for care interventions.Told him what they were doing Staff came in twos, one male one female. I thought this sensitive and appropriate. Staff appeared competent, efficient and knowledgable. This gave me confidence to leave them with my husband so I could take a shower or prepare a meal. Staff always introduced themselves. They left my husband tidy and comfortable, appropriate disposal of PPI etc. Compassionate and understanding communication from office staff. This was end-of-life care for my husband so a very challenging time. I am grateful for the standard of service we received.

All the team were so very reassuring. The carers showed my mum such kindness and care it was comforting to me to know my mum was in such caring hands. I would like to also say that the admin team that sit behind the carers were excellent and happy to assist.

I would be happy to commend the whole team.

Overall Experience
The Transforming Minds team looked after Mum from July 2023 until her death in February 2024. They came 4 times daily to provide personal care.
it is difficult to sum up the huge debt we owe the team of carers and their managers.
The carers were kind, caring and capable. When someone was new to the service they came with a more experienced carer. We never felt worried about Mum's safety or well-being and were always happy to leave Mum alone with the carers. They were professional yet personally involved in caring for Mum, which she really appreciated. We all got to know the carers well as there was consistency in who attended in the longer term, and each team of 2 tended to stay the same for several days which made continuity of care possible.

The managers were compassionate and keen to receive feedback to improve their service. They were prompt in letting us know if a carer team would be late (which didn't happen often) or if the times of visits were to change in the longer term.
