My husband was on end of life care and we had Top Option Healthcare for about the last month of his life. I only wish we had them for all the time he was being cared for as they were the best carers. So so polite and they treated my dear husband with dignity and care. There manager was someone warm and kind that you felt you knew a long time.
It was an absolute pleasure to look after your husband. We will always be your support structure.
Please know that at all times our door is always open for you and your family.
My husband had wonderful care during his terminal illness. The director/manager was excellent calling at the house and attending to any problems, receiving telephone calls etc. The carers male and female were caring, friendly reliable. Carers visited four times a day and covered part of the night until the day staff started their shift. They only disturbed us during the night if really necessary, and we were only too pleased to help. They were wonderful.
We are honoured to hear this wonderful feedback from you. We are honoured to have had this great opportunity to have cared for your husband.
We will always be there for you and your family. May your husband continue to rest in peace.
The care my husband received in the last few weeks of his life for Top Option Healthcare was exceptional. All the carers were absolutely amazing and Abigail the owner/manager went far and beyond to make sure my husband had the very best care. With her intervention my husband had 2 home visits from a paramedic nurse/doctor that he really needed as he had urine infections and she also managed to get him a larger hospital bed as he was 6ft tall and the bed arranged by the palliative team was standard size and too small, resulting in him having pressure sores on his heels. Whenever we needed help or advice Abigail and her team would respond either straight away or very quickly and do more than their best to help. The night care my husband received was also exceptional and it allowed me to sleep at night knowing he was receiving the best care. I would highly recommend Top Option Healthcare to anyone as they were always so friendly, caring and treated my husband with kindness and dignity.
Thank you very much for such positive feedback Jackie. We were and still are honoured to have cared for Mark. It is heart warming to know that our efforts and care had a positive and lasting impact on your husband and your family. Please remember you can always rely on Top Option Healthcare for support.
The carers were very professional, kind and treated my father with great respect. They provided outstanding care to my father in his last few months of life. I would have no hesitation in recommending Top Option Healthcare Limited carers to anyone.
Thank you very much for the kind words Chris, we are honoured to have had the privilege of caring for your father. The welcome and acceptance from your family made our work easier. Thank you very much for the support.
The team that looked after my mother was so sympathetic, respectful, kind and sweet to her during her last days. My family had been looking after my mum 24/7 for nearly 3 months and we were exhausted. The team came in and took a huge weight of our shoulders. Within a very short time we were confident that they would look after mum as we had looked after her. We were not made to feel that we had failed and with the teams help we managed to keep mum at home until her death as she had wished to die at home. We will be forever grateful to the team
Hi Linda. It was an absolute honour to have taken care of your mum. We are happy that we were able to provide you the support you needed and that we were able to care for your mum in a way that you would have done so. We will forever be grateful for your family trusting us with your mum's care....
This company looks after my husband primarily and also me (wife). I find all the carers to be 'caring' very warm, extremely polite and respectful to us both, giving us both wonderful care and attention. The manager is excellent who ensures that her staff are all of the above. We couldn't ask for more. Thank you all!
Thank you very much. I am glad to hear that you are getting the care that you and your husband need. We shall continue on this trajectory.
The Team were only with us for a week but it felt like we had known them for ages and I will be forever grateful at such a difficult time that it was them that came into our lives and allowed my husband to die peacefully and with dignity at home
We do appreciate you very very much. We are the most happiest and proudest that we were able to provide you the level of support that you and your family required. Please Know that we are able to say with pride and joy that you and your family will forever remain close to our hearts. Thank you once more for the well wishes.
Wonderful care for my terminally ill brother. His decline was rapid and TOH responded to his almost daily changing needs without a hitch. Their care was everything you could wish for. They went from managing his medication regime several times a day, to seemlessly ramping up to his ever increasing personal care needs. He really looked forward to their visits every day. He loved to chat to people and was able to connect on a very personal level with the carers. Oversight and management of his care was incredible. I could call anytime day or night and talk to the manager directly. Check-ins also happened regularly. Over the four weeks of his illness the care staff turned up on time daily. They communicated well and were always respectful of his dignity. We were able to trust the care staff to look after all his physical and medicine needs, whilst providing much needed social interaction. I would not hesitate to trust them again in the future.
Thank you very much for such a heart warming response Janice. It truly goes without saying that we always endeavour to provide nothing but the best and premium care that we get to give back. We are very proud that we were able to be a beacon of light during a very trying time. We will forever hold your family dear to us.
Also the management who came and helped also to offer me personal support, I feel very lucky to have had them. I could not praise them enough.
Thank you very much. Looking after Brian was an absolute pleasure. He was a lovely man. We were happy to have had the chance to share his last days with him. You will always have family with Top Option Healthcare.
Top Option always looked after Stephen with great care and attention. He had a good rapport with all carers. Taking into considerations his severe health issues, he was very thankful for their expertise in this field of care. All first class. Thank you.
Thank you very much for the great feedback Ian. We always try our best to provide stellar service for all our clients.
My brother was so very cared for with Top Option. All the carers always helped him in all ways. As he was registered blind and also had severe neuropathy in hand and feet. My brother Stephen felt very sressed with going blind - but his care with Top Option made so much difference to him. They are 1st Class in everything they do.
Thank you very much Dawn. It was always a pleasure to look after Stephen. He made the carer's day with his hearty jokes.
Our dear late brother received outstanding care from his carer and her wonderful team, the support that they also provided for our family was a tremendous comfort to us. We cannot thank them enough for their care, compassion and professionalism. They helped us through a difficult and emotional time.
Thank you very much for allowing us to be the help and comfort you needed. We will always be there for you whenever you need it. We are all happy we were able to help reduce your load during the emotional time.
Every caregiver who entered our home was not only highly skilled but also deeply empathetic. They took the time to understand our loved one's needs, preferences, and personality, treating them with the utmost respect and gentleness. Their presence was calming, and their support extended beyond the patient to our entire family.
What stood out most was their genuine compassion - they didn't just provide care, they provided comfort and emotional support. They were always punctual, attentive, and responsive, ensuring that every aspect of care was handled with excellence and sensitivity.
We will always be grateful for the peace and dignity they helped bring to this chapter of our lives.
Thank you very much for the wonderful feedback. I am happy that our staff is still living the agency's mantra to ensure that providing the best care is always at the core of everything we do. We were very honored to help you and your family navigate that chapter in your life. We will always be there for you and your family. Thanks again For the feedback.
We, as a family of a 91 year-old lady, could not have wished for a better team to provide end of life care in the home. From the moment the manager rang me two days before Mum was discharged from hospital the caring bond was obvious. Top options provided seamless care from the moment mum arrived home from hospital until the day she died nearly 3 weeks later. They are a highly professional, compassionate and understanding team. The 24 hour day consisted of 2×12 hour shifts (awake day and night) and a further 2×30 minute visit for personal care, feeding and making mum comfortable.
The team were fun and hardworking showing empathy, respect and understanding of the family's wishes. Always punctual, making notes/reporting to the manager with any concerns or worries.
The manager was a tower of strength, ringing the family every couple of days to ensure we were happy/needed anything changed and would visit her team in situ if necessary.
We are honored to have been your tower of strength and support through the time with your mum. As Top Option Healthcare, We pride ourselves at having the client's needs at the very core of what we do. Always remember you have a friend in Top Option Healthcare and the bond will never break. Thank you so much for the feedback.
We cannot fault the care that Mum is receiving all the carers are compassionate and caring. Mum enjoys having them in her home. The communication is very good and we are kept informed of any issues that may arise. we would always recommend them.
Thank you very much for such encouraging feedback. We love working together with relatives to provide all rounded and holistic care. Thanks again.
Just like to say that all the carers that come to Mum always do their best and give her company while they are there which lifts her spirits, so the support is there physically and mentally. We appreciate everything they do.
Thank you very much Pat for the warm words. It is our goal as Top Option Healthcare to always ensure that we provide nothing but the best when it comes to our people. We will continue to give nothing but the best for your mum. As you would have seen, with Top Option, you become more than a client.

My Name is Abigail Nonhlanhla Mkhize. I was born in South Africa and arrived in England in October 2001, and have been working as a registered nurse in different settings, including neonatal, adult, and paediatric. My work experience involved working at BUPA care homes for a year, looking after the elderly, including dementia and those who just need general support. I have worked in Southend Hospital's neonatal and accident and emergency department. I have been a bank nurse, which has exposed me to different scenarios and greatly expanded my knowledge.
My clinical co-ordinator role helped me gain interpersonal skills, compassion, and academic excellence throughout the years and has made me dedicated to providing quality care experience in different hospital settings and home care nursing, including community care for children.
I obtained a few qualifications during my experience, including the Adam special and intensive care of newborn graduate certificate and certificate of registration as a midwife, mentor, clinical educator, and in practice educator preparation with the University of Essex. I also did a diploma in general nursing, which was done in South Africa.
My motivation for starting my own healthcare company was when I acquired a role at First Option Healthcare, where I was assisting in the evaluation of home care complaints from residents/service users, predominantly children. I assisted in providing care to patients with complex needs, such as tracheostomies and learning disabilities.
I encouraged service users to become independent in their own homes and assessed the skills and competencies of carers assigned to care for the patients. This experience is what really pushed me to start my own care business. I registered with the CQC and was offered a certificate of registration in September 2021.
I feel as though my many years caring for vulnerable individuals, acquiring academic certifications, working at every level of care, and still having the passion and desire to help people have led me down this road, and I find that the company I have started allows me to reach out to more people and continue to help people who really require it.
Njabulo is a South African gentleman. Njabulo has shown a great tenacity and drive. He has worked with a wide array of NPOs, where he held some very pivotal roles and was able to make a significant impact.
He has shown a great deal of compassion and eagerness to help and learn with gusto and sincerity. He has completed a few courses relating to the care industry. He has done a Level 2 leadership and management course. He is earmarked to commence the Level 5 management course, and following which he will be enrolling WITH CQC.
In care, he has worked with children, young adults, as well as the elderly with various needs as applicable. He has particularly excelled with dementia related patients and is currently registered to further his studies with the available institution.
He remains a very dedicated and helpful member of the team.
