They continue to undertake risk assessments to ensure the safety of people who receive their care. The use of PPE remains broadly unchanged, as all employees continue to wear PPE and frontline workers undertake daily Covid tests.
ALWDO Assist operates across the Southeast of England, and the focus is primarily to provide a high standard of care and support to people in their own homes and to be an employer of choice by valuing their employees. The Care Agency aim to do this by being people and outcome focused, continually improving staff training, enhanced refresher training, and staff development plans. ALWDO Assist have robust monitoring, formal quarterly reviews, spot checks, and encourage feedback from customers to ensure continuous improvement.
Person-centred care is offered to customers according to needs, preferences, and choice. All team members are fully trained, checked, referenced, and undergo enhanced DBS check before they join ALWDO Assist.
ALWDO Assist uses CareFree Home Care Management Software to support in delivering outstanding care. The care workers have access to the Carer Portal which enables them to access critical information, as well as rotas, call notes etc. The web-based product allows the management of medications through its application.
The ALWDO Assist team are warm and welcoming, polite, respectful, caring, and responsive. They are also flexible, reliable, efficient, and punctual. They encourage, enable, and empower customers to make decisions in relation to their own lives, providing information, assistance and support where needed.

The team at Alwdo Assist really operate a first class service that care about their clients. From my first contact with the Manager I felt total confidence in the service they could provide, and they never disappointed, taking on board all our requests. Mum was reluctant for us to organise any help for her, but the friendly, professional care from the Alwdo Team soon won her over. Alwdo Assist were totally reliable, and Mum was introduced to the care team looking after her, rather than just random carers turning up. Excellent communication, and able to adapt to situations at a moments notice. A brilliant company to deal with.

We found Alwdo Assist after having problems with other care providers in the area that missed care appointments , kept changing carers and failing to provide care for the duration contracted.
Alwdo are so different , they keep every appointment, turn up on time , and provide care for the agreed periods of time. They care about the people they are looking after , help them to become more confident and independent , and help with occasional extra needs, ie cleaning , shopping , and medical appointments , or even just to sit with a cup of tea and have a chat.

I am so pleased and impressed by the service my father received from the team. They went beyond my expectations in the care of my father. Their commitment to their job in providing him with a safe place to prepare meals and cook, listening and encouraging him in this. Each member took time to listen and emphasise during their visits showing what true caring is about.
It's not just providing him with physical care but mental health and wellbeing too.

The team at Alwdo Assist all took great care of our elderly father. They shared his interest in music, and gardening and were very helpful in keeping his mood positive despite his dementia. We are very grateful for their attention and care. Billing was easy and clear too.

But they coped with him, coaxed him, helped, and cared for him. They cooked for him, walked his garden, and played his music with him. In the end, they won him over so he looked forward to them attending.

From the very beginning, I felt very confident about the Manager and the carer. My Aunt was very scared after having another company. But she is very settled and calm now and relaxed after a couple of visits. The whole service is very caring and professional.
