Above and Beyond Home Care's mission is to be the provider of choice for people needing care and support through the delivery of person-centred care that empowers individuals to maximise their independence and live a fulfilled life in their own home.

The team provides services from 1 hour per day up to 24 hours per day and they also provide live in care. They offer a diverse and flexible service and tailor care to the individual's needs, empowering them to have choice and control whilst respecting privacy, dignity and all cultural needs.

The team completes full and comprehensive assessments and ensures that the client is at the centre of the service. The support of advocates and loved ones is also highly encouraged when organising any care.

Above and Beyond Home Care has electronic systems in place that provides up to the minute information and, with the permission of the client, can be accessed by nominated individuals.

The care team are highly trained and specialist training is available whilst working with other professionals where needed.

We cannot thank you enough for the exceptional care you provided for our mum.
From the very beginning, the team was warm, approachable, and utterly dedicated-not only during scheduled visits but also in those in-between moments when we had questions or needed reassurance. Their support was consistent
and heartfelt, and they truly became an extension of our family.
As mum's needs became more complex towards the end of her life, the carers were incredible-patient, compassionate, and respectful. They took the time to understand her as a person supporting her in all aspects of her daily life with dignity and kindness. They frequently went above and beyond, ensuring she was comfortable and felt valued every step of the way. It's rare to come across such a dedicated, thoughtful team. We will always be grateful for the care, warmth, and humanity they showed our mum-and to us as a family. Thank you for everything.

I'm happy with Above and Beyond. We have carers for my nan due to her declining mobility.
I chose them because when my nan was due to leave Hemel hospital the business manager visited her for an assessment. She called and asked if I could be present. I was going to use another company but they visited
my nan alone. I'm nans carer and she showed a more personal/professional approach by asking me to be present.
She's supported me with any problems and queries. She visited my Nan in watford hospital after a fall. Another manager who sorts out the calls/roster is very helpful too. The company's flexible so I'm able to change days and times.
They look after Nan when I'm working but sometimes we have morning calls. My Nan's happy to see the carers. The carers are friendly and honest. When I'm working the carers visit Nan alone. I trust them and its nice to have someone to help.
We've been using Above and Beyond for 7 months and I'm happy we chose them.

I have had the care company deal with my care requirements for last 7 months, and in this time everyone in the company has been very professional, caring and polite. The company has a number of procedures and policies to ensure my care plan is understood and executed correctly, which I appreciate
as this ensures my caring needs are understood and delivered by their employees effectively. There is a high focus on my safety when carrying out my transfers and they also deal with my personal care needs as and when required. They are very flexible with changes to requirements when they arise, be it changes to, care plan or scheduled times, which we have had to make recently. What I really like is keeping me informed of any delays, as the carers always let me know if there are any delays due to traffic, sickness or a carer change.

I have been receiving care at home for a few months now and it has been brilliant. The carers are all very friendly and professional and nothing is too much trouble. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service they provide.

Excellent, friendly and efficient service. The carers were great extremely helpful and cheerfully dealt did whatever we required. We could not find any fault. Brilliant and we would heartily recommend it to our friends and relatives.

Reliable and friendly staff related well to my wife. We appreciated the flexible approach to my wife as she improved after her hospital stay. Care staff not here when my wife arrived home from hospital but it was 9.30pm!!

I have found the service very good. The carers have been reliable, willing, very caring and so pleasant to have in one’s home. The telephone has always been answered promptly, and alterations to any date are made without fuss!
Although I do not now need more care at the moment, I have asked to be kept
on the books for the future!
I had help over the last three months.

The care company were looking after my father-in-law, who was at the end of his life. He was originally having another agency, and we were a little apprehensive about the new provider. However, this company made sure that our transition to them went smoothly; the manager took on board our concerns with
having loads of different carers in at a difficult time and ensured we would only have a small team, which we did. The staff who came to us were experienced and knowledgeable in end-of-life care. They cared for my father-in-law right to the end without any issues. Thank you, to this care company, for allowing us to spend the last few precious moments with our father; your company coming in to care for him made all the difference.

Excellent company, after a few little tweaks at the beginning they have been wonderful.
Could not recommend them highly enough. Lovely to speak to and very friendly.
My mum loves them and looks forward to them coming round. We have them twice a day currently.

We are really happy with this care company and highly recommend them. They were able to take our mum on at short notice when we really needed a reliable care agency.
Their level of care is excellent, and the carers are well trained, kind and considerate and able to cater for all mum's needs. She always
looks forward to seeing them. They have been flexible with the times and number of visits we require, which suits our family set up perfectly, and their timekeeping is great.
Anyone looking for a new care agency should definitely consider hiring this company!

At the end of January I was unfortunate to break my hip and when discharged from hospital found I would need some help at home. I turned to this company and found that they are very caring, accommodating and friendly. A great company, I would highly recommend them.

Left without any care on one occasion due to no backup available. On one occasion left a call early. Both were within one week of care. Not caring, compassionate, or empathetic, tasks rushed and not done properly. No attention to timekeeping, What you see initially isn't what you get with this new provider
at all. Then had my care abruptly terminated with immediate effect saying I was rude! This was because I mentioned about leaving calls early. I'm a vulnerable disabled person who is now without care. No heart in this company at all. Don't believe everything you are told in the beginning. An awful start and to be left without care at very short notice is appalling. I think the above actions speak for themselves. I would hasten to add I was not rude.
