CARE being the operative word. We received wonderful heartfelt care for 3 weeks. End of life care for a husband/father. We have been amazed at the loving care, respect and dedication which has been shown. We would recommend Spectrum to everyone who is looking for sincere support and help. Our many thanks to the whole team/family at Spectrum we will be forever grateful for making the sudden situation we found ourselves in easier to bear.

My carer takes me for a lovely walk, mainly in the countryside, each week. She keeps me safe and we have formed a happy relationship. She understands my needs well; walking really helps my mental health.

The support from Spectrum Homecare has been brilliant from the start. From the initial meeting with my mother to the ongoing daily care, they've been very professional and caring throughout and my mother is very happy with the help she's getting.

We as a family are genuinely so pleased with the care our auntie gets from all the staff at spectrum. The app is such a great idea we can check what time the carer is visiting and arrange phone calls around it the comments are just lovely and seem to go above and beyond the normal care. Our auntie was a bit hesitant at first about having carers but when she met all the staff it was obvious from the first visit she was so happy. Always happy with the care provided and the availability for cover. If ever I have anything that needs sorting or any concerns it is always dealt with quickly and efficiently. Staff have a great relationship with my children which makes them feel safe.

Very good support service provided by the team. Any queries are resolved in a timely manner. Communication is extremely good, provided by the office who can always be contacted if there are any issues/queries.

At the beginning of 2023, I needed to find help for my elderly parents. Since using Spectrum, they have been amazing, especially as I do not live locally. They have been accommodating in adding in more times and in an emergency finding someone to stay overnight. All the staff are hardworking and caring. Thank you for giving me the piece of mind I need and the help my parents need too.

My mum was quite apprehensive at the thought of having carers in to help her at first. Now she actually looks forward to their visits. All of the staff at Spectrum are so friendly, thoughtful and so caring towards my mum with the care they offer, nothing is ever too much trouble. As a family we feel so grateful that we get support from Spectrum as it gives us the confidence and knowledge that mum is 100% looked after and if there is ever an issue they contact us straight away and are always happy and extremely helpful when we call them with any queries.

Spectrum Homecare is personally managed by the founders to a high standard and provides a valuable service to the Derby area. Carers provide an efficient service in a supportive style. They are responsive to supporting needs that vary from the normal weekly plan, such as medical appointments. They are also flexible to the different needs and expectations of service users. A small criticism, for balance as much as anything, is that it can sometimes take a couple of chases to get the right manager to respond to a query.

I continue to be very happy with the help and support that I receive from all the staff. I am reassured to know that they are just a phone call away if I need them in a crisis. Thank you to all the staff for making my life easier to cope with at home.

Spectrum provided care to Mum for just over twelve months. Staff were pleasant, respectful, diligent and observant. The management team are a highlight of the service, they worked hard to make sure Mum's needs were being met, re-evaluating her care as required and communicating effectively to carers. They were a wonderful resource for me, signposting me to other services, and suggesting things that could help Mum. They worked hard to make sure Mum had a consistent team of carers in a tricky location. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

The owners are friendly, trusting and do provide the best care for my mum. They always query issues or text me or ring me if Mum needs anything ordering or collecting. When I go on holiday, I up the care for Mum without a problem as long as I tell them in advance. They help Mum in so many ways so she can stay in her own home. I do not know where I would be without them.

I really cannot rate the care that my daughter receives from everyone at Spectrum. Nothing is too much trouble, and the staff go above and beyond. Since this time, we have been away on holiday quite a few times, the last one being a few days away in November 23, and we have had the reassurance every time that our daughter - who has a chronic illness - was being well looked after. The manager and your team - you are stars and greatly appreciated. Our daughter even likes us to go away so she can see the team!

I am a young adult with hidden and long-term disabilities. Happy with receiving help from Spectrum. All the management are very friendly, genuine and caring. The management goes the extra mile for you and is patient with you, too. The carers are very friendly, as well.

I rang up asking about overnight care due to my mum being very poorly. After speaking with the manager on the phone - she was absolutely brilliant, and the care and attention she gave to my mother were brilliant. Would definitely recommend.
