I have recently had a knee replacement, and the care from all the staff has been wonderful. They are so helpful and friendly. I look forward to them coming as I have lost my husband and am lonely, and they have been so kind. Would recommend to anyone.

My mum passed away suddenly so we needed to sort out care for my dad urgently as he has dementia. The ladies at Spectrum were amazing. They made suggestions about visits and a routine for Dad, which wasn’t about making money but what was best for Dad. They go above and beyond, keep us updated, review care plans, bring Dad treats, take him out and coaxing him to do what is needed whilst always being respectful and kind. It’s only a small team, the staff are consistent so, Dad has been able to build a rapport with them, and so have we. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and frequently do to anyone I can. The role they have is invaluable to us, and they really supported us while we dealt with Mum’s death. If you’re looking for carers who treat your loved ones as if they were part of their own family, are experienced and competent and speak to you like human beings, this is the company for your care needs (- and no, I’m not related to any of them, and they didn’t pay me!)

After a 4-month stay in the hospital, my father was discharged home. He is still very weak and unsteady on his feet, so our family decided to find carers to help him wash and dress in the morning and get Dad into bed at night. I spoke to Spectrum, and straight away, loved their happy, friendly and helpful demeanour. After a meeting with them, Dad decided to try them out. He is absolutely thrilled to bits with the service that he is receiving. The girls who visit him are always on time and always have a happy smile on their faces; they treat Dad with dignity and compassion. Nothing is too much trouble for them. If he wants anything done, he only has to ask. The girls' attention to detail is fantastic; they are trustworthy and thorough and are becoming good friends.

Good timekeeping, have done what they said they would, always helpful and kind. Smart, clean and professional at all times. Will changes times to suit me when I let them know beforehand. They give me confidence when I have to go to appointments.

I can’t rate Spectrum Homecare highly enough. They have been looking after my mum for the past 6-months and provide her with amazing care. They are a very professional team, caring, kind, always trying to find ways to stimulate Mum, who has Alzheimer’s, and nothing is too much trouble. They ensure my mum still has her dignity whilst this horrible disease is taking her from me. I am confident that my mum is living the best life she can, and that is due to the care she receives from these wonderful ladies. Thank you.

While we have only known them for just over a week, I already feel very comfortable around everyone and trust them with all elements of my personal care. I don't feel worried or guilty in asking them for help and hope to only grow my already high level of trust in them as we slowly remove responsibilities from our Mum.

Despite the little amount of time spent with these carers, they have adapted perfectly to me, my family and our needs. I have found each member of staff likeable and feel very comfortable, safe and well looked after in their care.

I am really impressed with the team at Spectrum, they are dedicated, professional and possess a caring and cheerful nature. Right from day one, the team took time to really get to know my mum, fully understand her needs, and she is always treated with the utmost dignity and respect. My mum really looks forward to their visits, and I am blown away by just how they are able to balance the daily tasks and yet still take the time to engage in conversation with her and leave her feeling in good spirits. If you are looking for a care company for your loved one, try Spectrum, as, from my experience, you will not be disappointed!

The manager and her team have given my mother excellent care. They are kind, thorough and attentive. They recognise my mother's physical and emotional needs and always offer care that is second to none. I would wholeheartedly recommend them.
