The team have been an absolute godsend for my dad who was struggling to cope on his own since the death of my mother and his increasing frailty. Both my sister and I live a distance away from my dad and are unable to provide daily support. This is where the team stepped in to give us confidence that
all his needs were met. He enjoyed his visits from all the carers and they have all gone above and beyond the call of duty to ensure he was safe and happy. My dad is currently in hospital amd therefore we have suspended his care but if and when he is able to go home, I will have no hesitation in contacting one member of staff, in particular, to restart his contract with this fabulous team! With many thanks to two members of staff in particular for your support over a very difficult time.

If you prioritise a person centred approach with attention to detail, then this is certainly not the company for you.
The seven weeks we had involvement, twenty two separate staff came through the door, making it impossible to build up any continuity or relationships.
The staff had a tick box towards
care and daily ticked tasks that were not completed. We approached management many times with care issues and were made to feel ridiculous and "unrealistic". Despite assurances that the care would be tailored to specific dementia needs, it was not. There was little understanding of the basics. The odd few staff possessed the right way of working and I was appreciative of them, if only to demonstrate that the outcomes were dependent on their positive input rather than my parents being awkward and aggressive. Ultimately, due to our insistence that standards improve, the company withdrew their support with seven days notice and left us with no cover until a new care company could be found.

As a business, we don't typically respond to reviews, but we feel its important to address this one, as it does not accurately reflect our services or our dedicated team. While we aim to provide person-centred care, the volume and nature of requests in this case were unrealistic and beyond the scope of effective care. Despite our efforts, we had to withdraw services to safeguard our staff following video evidence of an incident, as their safety is our priority. Additionally, we were not given the full history of the client by the Local Authority or family prior to starting. Once concerns arose, we learned that previous providers faced similar challenges. We gave notice with sufficient time for a transition, continuing care during this period. A new agency was secured quickly, ensuring minimal disruption. We wish the family and the new agency all the best and remain committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to all our clients.

From the first phone call I made to ask for help, this care team have been professional, helpful and caring, making things easier for us, as a family, to get care sorted for my brother after our mum had died.
I personally did not know which way to turn at this difficult time and we, as a family, cannot
thank The Right Home Care Team enough.
The difference in my brother's mental health since you have been caring for him is amazing. You are all fantastic carers and must be a credit to your company.
