I have had issues with some carers but it has always been put right, some carers don't go out of there way to help with menual tasks they will just sit there. Food I have an issue with I waste food because they don't like what I have bought sometimes I just give up. I hope I don't sound to much of a
moaner.

You told me you have resolved the food waste issue by telling the Carer what is being prepared on the day and whether they would like the same or something different . That is a good way to reduce food waste and to ensure there is choice for everyone. You told me this review relates to one Carer , we discussed options of what you wanted to happen and so I feel we have now resolved the matter and you are feeling much happier with the outcome. I explained that I am always available to discuss any concerns and that you must not sit on things that are bothering you with any of the Care we are providing . It was good to hear this Carer is always 100% with your husband as the client, I would expect no less. Again thank you for taking the time to complete the review.

Having become less confident about living alone, still very independent, but with my health deteriorating, the Live in Care system with 1-2-1 Live in Care has been absolutely brilliant for me.
Managed by an impressive management team who have been most efficient and considerate in answering any queries
I may have had in the early days, their choice of carer for me has been a pretty perfect match. Now with her for over a year, we have a very good relationship, she is very caring, warm and professional, very respectful of my 'Off' days, and also lots of fun. When she has her break, the substitute carers have been carefully chosen
to match my needs.
I would very highly recommend this company, their dedication to their carers and clients has really impressed me.

Very good service - providing a live-in carer for my father (94 years old), and have done so for 11 months. No problems - Management have done routine inspections, as well as an unnanounced spot check. A couple of minor issues have been effectively dealt with. Handovers between regular carer and relief
have been effective and almost always seamless. I would recommend.

1-2-1 Live In Care literally saved us. Like a lot of families we had struggled along, trying to care for mum and manage our own lives at the same time, until it all became too much. We were matched with a carer and it has changed everything. Mum is so well looked after, physically and emotionally, and
having that peace of mind is everything. There is frequent communication between management, carer and family, so we are all kept up to date with mum's condition. I would highly recommend 1-2-1 to any friends/family who find themselves in the same situation.

My father receives excellent care, he is treated with respect and dignity as we all are. The carer makes time to chat to him and makes sure that food is prepared to his liking... We feel supported and comfortable knowing that Dad is safe and well looked after and we can concentrate on just visiting
now which is lovely. Communication is excellent and requests responded to in a timely manner. This is our first experience of live-in care and we won't be looking for anyone else now.

1-2-1 have provided an excellent experience for our family. Our mother needs full time care and 1-2-1 have given her the care she needs to enable us to carry on with our busy lives and work without having to worry that mum isn't being fed and cared for the way we would do.

From the start 1-2-1 Live In Care were in constant touch. They assessed the needs of my father-in-law and also those of the family. They took into account his personality and interests, finding him the perfect match in a carer. There is a personal touch with communication and support, someone is always

From the beginning, I emphasised the need for practical day-to-day care provisions to work well, independently of my sister and I. To date, they have been proactive, efficient and transparent, whilst welcoming collaborative engagement with us to the benefit of our cousins.
Timely assistance with personal
matters is provided respectfully and efficiently to my relatives, whilst maintaining their dignity through engagement and consent. They are encouraged to be as independent as possible, within what is medically safe.
To enrich their lives, one staff member asked for a traditional local delicacy recipe and made it for them. This demonstrated to me a real willingness to go the extra mile and give my cousins a great personalised experience. This has been further displayed over the festive period.
In summary, representatives of 1-2-1 Live In Care have provided my relatives with efficient and dignified care for their personal needs, whilst proactively seeking opportunities to enrich their lives.

I have received great care for my mum with 1-2-1 Live In Care. Their communications with me as the main client on behalf of my mum is good. The company ask for my requirements for a carer, with regard to personality, and technical ability regarding ordering via online shopping and my mum's needs are
assessed by the company and are matched to a carer. I am informed of the carer's profile and if I am happy for the placement to go ahead.
1-2-1 Live-In Care is keen for any feedback I can give on their carers and the way they work, which is great. This gives me the opportunity to ensure I am part of any review process and this gives me confidence that my opinion matters which is important. I feel I am listened to and responded to in a timely manner, via email or phone.
1-2-1 Live In Care have emergency cover if required for any reason, so I am confident that Mum will be taken care of with a maximum timeline of one and half hours to get a carer in place.

The care my mother receives from 1-2-1 Live In care, both from the live-in carer and the head office staff, is consistently excellent.
My mother's carer is now more like a best friend than a carer. She works tirelessly to ensure that Mum is well fed, has her personal cleanliness looked after, has a
lovely clean and tidy house to enjoy and any medical issues are sorted out immediately. I really wouldn't want anyone else looking after Mum.
As my mother has dementia as well as mobility issues, she can get confused at times and not know where she is; the carer is incredibly patient and reassuring to make sure that Mum can calm down and stop worrying.
The staff at their head office are always available, helpful and cheerful. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they have helped me with problems at very little notice.
I would recommend 1-2-1 Live In Care Ltd to anyone looking for 24-hour care for a loved one.

The live-in carer communicates with me if Mum is ill or needs the doctor. We discuss Mum's dementia behaviour and put our heads together about what Mum might need or want. I feel informed on a weekly/ daily basis about how Mum is. The agency manager has taken our concerns seriously and has been supportive
of us, dealing with a complex family dynamic. We feel at the centre of a team caring for Mum: family, social services, the care company and the GP. The live-in carer is conscientious, kind and seems to genuinely enjoy her job. Mum is well-fed and cared for. She is receiving gold standard, one-to-one care.

Claire started her social care journey in Children's services and has also worked in Mental Health. In October 2010 Claire worked as a Live Care Registered Manager for another private care company where she stayed for 11 years before 1-2-1 Live In Care was formed in April 2022, Claire is also one of the owners/ directors of the company.


When Claire is not working she is an avid dog walker. She is also interested in the home interior as well as travelling and jetting off on holiday.


Claire achieved her level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services in 2016.

Rhiannon is the Assistant Manager for 1-2-1 Live In Care, she also is part owner/ director. Rhiannon has worked in Health and Social Care since 2012, starting in Domiciliary Care when she was at university. She then moved into Live In Care in 2016 and feels that Live In Care ensures that more people can remain in their own homes.


Rhiannon enjoys spending time to rewind when she is not at work; going on long dog walks across the Somerset countryside.
