I have over 25 years of experience in the adult social care sector working in both private homes and working for agencies within the sector, and also in different roles within domiciliary care in care homes. I have a natural passion for looking after people, from completing and helping with personal care medication prompting and in some cases living with the clients.

I have also worked as a senior carer supervising and shadowing new staff. I was also in charge of dignity and respect and was awarded Carer of the Year in 2015. I attended a course and was trained at Saint Christopher's Hospice in end-of-life care (Palliative care). I have also attended a course and was trained in pressure sore care at Dulwich Hospital.

I have attained Level 2 and 3 Diploma and a Level 3 Train the Trainer in Health and Social Care. I also have an upper second-class Honours Degree from the University of Plymouth in Management.
