Thankyou for providing very reliable and consistent care for our father. Currently our father is independent however, he needs two short visits each week to provide some essential care and support. The carers are now familiar to him which is much appreciated. I would recommend Helping Hands to others.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we really do appreciate it.
It is great to know that the Helping Hands have been providing very reliable and consistent care for your father and it is lovely to hear that he is now familiar to to the carers.

The online portal was really helpful for understanding Mums needs especially as I live in a different city.
Would highly recommend Helping Hands.
Same regular carers where provided and showed a good understanding of clients needs and supported her in a caring and professional manner.
Helping Hands are reliable , caring and supportive. They visited as arranged and performed all tasks as agreed and sometimes tasks over and above. They were kind and thoughtful to my Auntie. Thank you for you your care.
Wonderful people who come in and feed my dad, tidy the house and feed the cats while I am away. Have used them a few times. Always helpful. It's nice to go away and know that everything is covered. I come home to a happy dad, clean house and clean litter trays. Exactly what you want after getting a flight at midnight in February. Have used a few times before. Will definitely book again. Have also requested them for house cleaning when I am too ill or busy. Or just overrun by circumstances. The whole team are fabulous.
It's great to be able to rely on the Helping Hands team especially as my sister and myself live so far from our mum. We are able to call Helping Hands easily to stop them coming in when myself or my sister are with mum for long stretches of time.
For reasons I won't explain I'm sorry to see them finish and want to wish all the staff involved a very happy and bright future
Thank you everyone.
When Mum and I first met with Care Coordinator, we were asked about interests and hobbies as well as the practical support needed. Mum has regular carers, which is very helpful as it takes her a while to remember people now, and she has been matched with a brilliant team, who understand her and have got to know what works in her care, activities she enjoys - such as gardening, being outdoors and music - and she has regular outings and adventures during the day.
The team also make sure Mum and her cat have good food, that the house is kept clean and safe and have taken her to appointments when needed.
I highly recommend Helping Hands, and we would be lost without the team. Thank you for looking after my lovely Mum so well.
Helping Hands provided a really helpful service for my mother. As her mobility worsened, they provided increasing care. When my mother fell, I was informed by a neighbour. Since I lived away, I could not get to my mother for a few hours. I rang Helping Hands, who sent a carer straight away to stay with her until I was able to get there and the ambulance arrived. This was a great relief. I would definitely recommend Helping Hands.
Routine hospital support visits are very good and reliable although some carers when new, are not informed by the head office/previous carers of the route or correct entrance to use which has sometimes resulted in arriving late for treatments.
Regular home visits vary depending on carer. Some are excellent and take initiative to do odd jobs, make drinks and visit shops etc. Others just sit there and wait for my elderly mother to make them a drink and generally entertain them, basically adding no value, other than a bit of company during the two-hour visit.
The assessment of needs was professional, warm and reassuring. A dear contact helped define what we agreed would be given and flexibility was also possible.
The carers who visited were completely reliable, cheerful positive and carried out anything we agreed and more.
I would recommend this service without reservation.
However, the client (my mother) was upset and annoyed by the fact that although every attempt was made by Helping Hands to provide continuity of staff personnel, she couldn't cope with different staff arriving each week.
Helping Hands cared for my father during his convalescence after breaking his leg. The care was very friendly and always on time. The carers went above and beyond to make sure his surroundings were clean and safe at all times and that he was talked to like a person, not a client. Couldn't recommend a better company. We have used other companies before who did the bare minimum, which Helping Hands certainly doesn't; they are happy to help in any way. Thanks again for caring for my dad.
Best wishes.
