Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Our family have peace of mind that our father is been cared for very well as his mobility declines, which means that he can remain living at home where he has lived for 56 years. His live-in carer is very kind, attentive, gentle, patient and very professional. Our father has early signs of vascular
dementia and he is a Type I insulin dependent diabetic which means that the Carer has to be very aware of any medical changes - she manages these with ease. I would highly recommend this agency. When the carer has annual leave, the Agency always manage replacements in plenty of time which includes an opportunity to meet the 'stand-in carer' before she takes on the role - this is very important not only for my father to know who will be caring and living with him him, but for us as a family too. A good testament to the Carer is that when I am alone with my father I ask him "how is going with the Carer Dad" and he always comments very positively and I can see that he is happy and content.

Friendly, professional, well qualified and trustworthy care for our loved one who is a Type 1 insulin controlled Diabetic and also has Dementia. Our nurse promotes independence but is there with a steady hand to guide and to listen to the same stories ! I have peace of mind knowing she is well cared
for .

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.3 (8.333) out of 10 for Care Specialist Services is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.5 out of 5 from 2 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.833 for Care Specialist Services is calculated as follows: ( (10 Excellents x 5) + (2 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 12 Ratings = 4.833
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Care Specialist Services is based on 2 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 = 3.5
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
