My Mum has been a resident at Abbeyfield, Stirling for several years and it has been the perfect home for her. She has been supported seamlessly through changes to her mobility and care needs over the years. She benefits from the contact with both staff and the other residents. All her needs are met with regard to laundry, cleaning and meals to a high standard. The care staff assist as required but also encourage independance where appropriate. The call system works very well and gives both my Mum and the family reassurance that she is safe and that if she requires assistance , it will be available.

Vikki and all the staff are friendly and approachable and we are lucky to have such a good set-up for my Mum.

I have been a client for just over a year now and consider myself extremely lucky to have found Abbeyfield.

It's a proper home from home from the excellent care received to the delicious home cooked meals. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff up to and including managerial. I just feel very privileged to live here whilst maintaining my independence.

The staff are very kind and caring to our Mum. All staff converse with her, help her in a variety of ways and take her out. They log entries in a folder which we can see and call in Doctors and nurses to see Mum if they feel that is needed. They notify us of any concerns. Some staff let their children or pets to visit Mum which always cheers her up. They now know her ways and are excellent at looking after her wellbeing. They also have social events in the lounge and encourage clients to socialise.

Abbeyfield is an amazing home care facility. I am so happy there was a room available, just when my mum needed it. It is the best of both worlds. Assistance when required with her own privacy and independence, a great balance. She has her own personal things around her which makes her feel safe and happy . The staff at Abbeyfield go above and beyond. Every detail is taken care of with love and respect. Meals are all homemade and tailored to her needs , her room is kept clean and tidy and all her washing is done. She has nothing to worry about and can enjoy her later years. I cant recommend Abbeyfield enough. It is the perfect home from home.

Whilst my mum was receiving parcels from items over the Xmas period she was unable to open them and was getting confused and upset. I went in to fix the issue. The staff then told me that they would be happy to help and I was just to give them a call if the issue arose again. The staff had not been aware there was an issue. We have to respect mums independence however this intervention was ideal and is in line with the high standards of care shown by the staff as people can't always get into help straight away.

I hope I get a place here when I get to need a place to look after me. The cleanliness of the home is as very good. The staff are always extremely helpful. The meals provided are well thought out and there's always a good variety. The dining room is lovely and set out with tablecloth, napkins in holders and is always clean and comfortable. The afternoon activities are nice for example. The residence were invited to come and watch a nice film together and there were bowls of popcorn and crisps put out for this experience. The back garden is beautiful and in the summer it is nice for The for the residents to enjoy.
Also the ladies have kindly painted my mum in-laws nails which always makes her feel special.
The ethos of the running of the Home is that we can go and enjoy time with our loved one will they take care of the daily issues such as medication, Doctor's and Dentist appointments.

So needless to say we are very happy with the running of the Home and the care that is given.
