Changing stoma training needs to be completed by every member of staff.
Thank you for feedback. All staff undergo Stoma training as part of our mandatory training requirements . Unfortunately the stoma training was delayed due to being cancelled by the Health Board before the start of the care package, but it has now been rescheduled.
My carers are good on the whole, except one who left bits of food in the sink and also spent 15 minutes on the phone in the back kitchen, sat down until I told him, and he said it was 2 minutes, but I timed him with my clock, which strikes at 1:00 o'clock and 1/4 past, so I told him. That's the only one I have had bother with. On the whole, they are okay.
Thank you for your feedback. Your care is funded by Gwynedd Council, who no do not pay for a housekeeping service, therefore the carer does not have the allocated time to perform cleaning chores. However, we have taken your comments on board and raised it with the social worker to see if they are looking to fund this for you. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
No central heating due to delay in oil delivery - I was helped with wheeling logs from porch to snug ( log burner stove). Change bedding - office staff must all be congratulated also.
A professional and extremely caring service provided to my Uncle. Communication and knowledge the Manager provides is excellent. We feel safe in the knowledge that our uncle is well cared for which is reassuring.
A big thank you to Help at Home for their care and support over the past six months for our mother. The manager and a member of staff were brilliant as were the carers for mum, in particular our thanks go to another two members of staff who we met when visiting mum, but also to the rest of the team who between them kept our mum safe.
We have had a fantastic experience so far. The carers are lovely, kind and do all that they can to meet my uncle's needs to the full. After 14 months of caring for my uncle on my own, the best thing we did was have carers come in 2-3 times a day. All I can say is thank you, thank you for helping me personally and for the loving care that you all give my uncle.
The care and attention provided by all the carers is excellent. All those who have attended to me during the last few weeks once returning home have been most courteous and willing to complete any tasks I request them to complete. As a 92 year old I am very grateful for all services rendered.
Meddyg Care stepped in to support our family quickly when we needed them, providing morning and evening calls, preparing meals and supporting our family members needs. They have always been punctual, and caring and keep us informed of any issues. We are happy with the level of support and engagement we have from management.
Thank you for the efficient initial service and meetings to set up some care. The manager was very professional and knowledgeable; we had confidence in her from the start. She managed to organise care extremely promptly and answered all questions to allay any worries.
To sum up, punctual, caring and observant care. Well done to all the team at Meddyg Care.
