Utterly fantastic, more than I ever hoped for.
The Helping hands team are just lovely people and they provide the best care for my parents, yes they do the stuff you'd expect (and do it exceptionally well) but they take an interest in my parents as people, I often find them sharing a joke or a story from their past. It makes for such a great atmosphere in their home.
Recently once of the carers, John, arrived while I was there, he wasn't on duty, he wasn't getting paid to visit but he made the journey anyway as the day before Dad said he was having trouble with his hearing aid and John brought some spare parts and fixed it for him. Where else would you find that kind of bond? My parents aren't clients they aren't service users, they are part of the Helping Hands family.
I'm so glad we found Helping Hands, I feel that they care, in every sense of the word, and mum and dad are safe in their (Helping) hands.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we really do appreciate it. It is wonderful to hear how highly you value the care provided and that the team go above and beyond to create such a warm and positive atmosphere. We are especially pleased to hear how much your parents enjoy the...
Regular visits from the team at Helping Hands (Knaresborough) have greatly improved the quality of life for my Mum who is in her eighties. The management are very helpful and experienced in providing workable solutions to the practical problems associated with care of the elderly. My Mum speaks highly of the daily carers who attend to her needs and, as a result of the care she receives from Helping Hands, she is much more stable and optimistic. I would not hesitate to recommend this Home Care Provider.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we really do appreciate it. It is wonderful to hear how the regular visits have positively impacted your mums quality of life and helped her feel more stable and optimistic. We are so pleased that both the team and management have been able to...
The team go above and beyond their job description because they truly care about my Mum's wellbeing. Thank you. My Mum suffers from extremely severe anxiety and depression and will not leave her apartment. Victoria and her team managed to persuade her to allow a hairdresser into her home and oversaw the appointment, even coming back later in day to hoover up. This was something my brother and I had tried to do without success previously. They stay cheerful and interactive with my Mum whatever her mood!
Good Afternoon Laura,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we really do appreciate it. We are truly pleased to read your kind words about the team and the exceptional support they provide to your mum. It is wonderful to hear how they have gone above and beyond, especially in...
Exceptional flexibility in providing services. Superb staff.
The members of staff who visit me each morning I find to be a great comfort to me. They are very friendly and cant seem to do enough for me. I would recommend the company to friends and other members of my family.
They are always cheerful, professional, and caring, and go out of their way to help my husband. They deal effectively with any issues as they arise, and have made such a difference in both of our lives.
Helping Hands Home Care (Northallerton) provides an excellent service. They have made a big difference for my Mum. Carers are always approachable and friendly. It means I can go out to work and know my Mum is well looked after. Also, very easy to contact the main office. Very satisfied with this service.
So far carers have been reliable and adaptable as have the management staff and accounts department.
My Mum has Alzheimer's and cannot remember the carers after they have left, but she seems bright as a button and that is probably because she is eating better and has someone to talk to as the day is moving to early evening.
Everyone I have spoken to are absolutely lovely and nothing is too much trouble. They offer advice and support even without me asking.
Very glad I picked this company!
Pleased with your service and care. The girls are always kind and helpful. Your training for them is excellent they remember all the food preferences and other details are remembered. I always feel cared for and relaxed with them.
Thank you ever so much for leaving such a kind review! I'm thrilled to hear how relaxed and cared for you feel and it is our absolute pleasure to provide you with support! Your lovely feedback truly means the world to us.
Best wishes,
Carers are usually very prompt, always polite and (on their own) 100 percent focussed on my needs. When they are in pairs - as happens if a new carer is shadowing a more experienced colleague - they can chat to each other. I am usually concentrating too much on trying to move to speak but they immediately respond when attracted.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review! I'm pleased to hear that our carers are always polite and are a hundred percent focussed on your needs. We really appreciate your lovely feedback!
Best wishes.
The manager and her helping Hands team are helping my dad stay in his own home. Dad has dementia and without their proactive daily care, he would have to be in a home. The team does not only help with medication and meals they interact with dad, care for his daily welfare and have on occasion managed emergency services. Dad believes there is nothing wrong with him, sometimes does not understand why people come to his house and is not always appreciating what the Helping Hands team does. My wife and I really appreciate what Helping Hands do to keep my dad at home. Thank you.
It is our absolute pleasure to provide care for your dad and we're thrilled to hear how we've been able to help him stay in his own home, which we know is so valuable! We're all delighted here at the office, and we can't thank you enough for your kind words!
My mum and I are very happy with the care she receives. She has struck up good relationships with quite a few of the carers and the quality of care is excellent. The timekeeping is also very good as because of my mum's Alzheimer she gets anxious if anyone is late. The excellence of the care package means that I have less to worry about and my mum can stay in her own home.
Best wishes
