Overall Experience
We are satisfied with the care provided to my father. The care staff are respectful and kind, which we greatly appreciate. Overall, the care provision meets our needs.
I would like to reiterate a previous request. My mother is also in her 90s and finds it difficult to step back from caregiving, though she means well. We need staff to kindly but firmly encourage her to let them handle Dad's care, only involving her when something specific is needed that isn't readily available. This allows the professionals to do their work while also protecting my mother's own wellbeing.

Thank you for the care that you provide.

Helping Hands give us home-based care for my mother. They provide respite care while my wife and I have days or evenings out.
They are a superb care partner and I am very pleased to unreservedly recommend them.
The professionalism began with the construction of a care plan - which is regularly updated.
They then matched their team members to both the needs from the care plan and - as far as possible - to the personality and temperament of my mother.
The carers are highly professional and attentive to the needs of my mother. They follow the care plan plus any stay-specific requirements.
My mother is a huge fan of the service and genuinely looks forward to the visits so she can have a 'good natter'.
The carers are always timely and well-presented. The follow ups after each visit are welcome - the ethos seems to be one of constant improvement.

The best compliment I can give is that my wife and I can leave, thoroughly enjoy our time out, and return home refreshed. 10/10 / 5+ Stars!!

We use helping hands to provide additional social visits, rather than help for cleaning etc, and this works very well. Variety of helpers with good continuity means mum gets to know them all. Thanks

The care and support supplied for my Mother was generally very good and some of the carers were excellent and really did go above and beyond to help Mum.

They took the pressure off my father who had managed Mums care prior to engaging Helping Hands.

Overall Experience
From the moment I first contacted Helping Hands, Brentwood, I felt so supported.
Organising care for my mother was made easy by professional and knowledgeable staff.
Her carer was kind, punctual and respectful of her and her home. Always flexible too. They formed a good relationship and she felt secure in their care.
Members of management were extremely helpful if I had a query and on hand to listen, and offer good advice.

I would, and have, recommended them to others.
