Thelma came into our lives when my uncle was reaching the end of a long and debilitating illness and needed more care hours. She was a breath of fresh air, always with a smile and a positive spirit. Her dedication to his personal care and keeping his spirits up was invaluable. The team made a huge difference to the quality of life for my parents in their last year at home before they moved into full time care. Everyone who came to the house to cover for us for respite or appointments was both kind and competent and my parents - with mobility and memory issues - genuinely liked them, as did we. They also enjoyed the games; ballon tennis was a favourite but the games on the phone were another hit. We also appreciated the way the team responded when we had an emergency, always trying to help at short notice if they could. We still keep in touch.

I am a well-experienced manager who worked in several companies as a deputy manager and home manager before I established Flexy Care. I have also worked as a nurse for more than 40 years. My passion is making sure that the elderly are well looked after in the comfort of their homes and improving their well-being. Due to my experience with the needs of the elderly, I endeavour to recruit good corers who are as passionate as me and who can provide quality care.
