On the whole, care was ok (esp if you need basic/standard care), if the person has critical pain/health/movement issues then it seemed beyond what the staff have been trained to do. Most training seems to be internal. Staff can be mixed in care and attitude. Luckily I had one staff member that was very empathetic and capable (but this can be luck of the draw), most are polite and some gentle, others put in bare minimum or even rude. On the whole (apart from that one person) the care was not adequate and caused a lot of stress. Staff seem to be poorly paid often working very long hours and ad-hoc multiple shifts per day.

Blackdice have been providing care for us since March 2024. The whole team are always clean, tidy and respectful and we are always proud to have them in our home. They are helpful, caring, friendly, gently and have made a massive difference to every day. The team care for us 24 hours a day with all our personal care and everyday needs along with providing company and are very punctual.

We enjoy their company and can have a laugh and joke and we feel very fortunate to have such a wonderful team.

My husband feels comfortable with the care he receives. Carers are kind, sensitive and efficient allowing him dignity and respect. He enjoys interaction and sharing humour with them. We are indeed very happy with the care he receives.
