Overall Experience

I have found the whole team stemming from the excellent management to the hands on service worker to be nothing but professional, open and empathetic to my friend, the client. In a relatively short space of time, they have managed her complete personal care, which had been extremely problematic for many years. She is looking extremely well physically and though her dementia is progressing quickly, the team have been quick to adapt to her changing needs. It is a relief to know that she is in such good hands and this has meant that she can safely stay in her own home, which has always been her wish. It's a huge relief and we can go back to our friendship.

I am absolutely delighted with the professionalism, compassion and level of care shown by both management and carer. Their kindness, patience, attentive , respectful caring has been excellent. Their attention to detail to acknowledge and meet my friend's needs has been thoughtful and perfect. Communication has always been excellent, management is professional, organised, supportive and available. It has been lovely to witness this level of exceptional care being given to my friend and neighbour daily. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality care. They have exceeded expectation on every level.

From the day Guardian took over the care of my mum it has been simply fantastic all round ! Carl who cares for mum is absolutely brilliant. They have a great time together and he has become part of the community . Mum is happy , she is in her own home in her own bed and has "her man" looking after her . She is 95 and lives remotely . Carl is a great cook and loves taking mum on day trips . Guardian have literally given me my life back as well as provide fantastic care for mum , they are incredibly professional and experienced and understand exactly what we and mum needed . They work will with the local social work team and are always available if I have any questions .

My mum's carer has been truly excellent - professional, friendly and very helpful. He is good with mum and as a result has gained respect. He wakes early and everything is in hand by the time mum comes for breakfast. He enjoys the location of my mum's house and has become a good friend to all her circle of neighbors.
We are now confident that mum can remain at home for the foreseeable future.
Thank you!

Robin

My Mother-in-law feels safe, valued, understood, and very well cared for, which the #1 most important thing to me. Her carer quickly adapted to the indiosyncracies of the role, location and unique responsibilities, and embraced them, also forging positive connections with family members, an added plus!

And almost as important (while not directly in touch), I do know from other family members the management and staff at Guardian are truly distinctive - rigorous, knowledgeable, but also empathetic and kind and service oriented, we could not be more grateful for their efforts.

From initial contact to provision of services, Guardian Live in Care have been nothing but helpful and professional. During a very stressful time for our family, they helped navigate a difficult road to get my father in law home which we couldn't have done without them. They offered support, not only to their client but to our whole family and helped make the transition from hospital to home straight forward and smooth.

The care provided when home was second to none and I would fully recommend Guardian Live in Care to anyone who needs support in their home.

From the first enquiry to Guardian Live-In Care (GLIC), they responded promptly and were very helpful. When we first met one staff member in particular at the house, she had a lovely way about explaining the service they could provide. She went above and beyond with attending meetings and visiting my father at the hospital and with council Care Managers. She has a very reassuring way of describing the service and built and trusting relationship with my mum and dad which meant a lot to the whole family. The companion she put forward turned out to be an excellent choice. She was passionate and compassionate to both my parents.
The staff member worked hard to come up with the most cost effective care plan for my father, which we appreciated. Unfortunately my mother did not cope well with having my father home and he is now in a care home. This was certainly not anything to do with the great service GLIC provided.

I would throughly recommend them to any family looking to care for a family member at home

Overall Experience

I am mega-impressed by Guardian Live-In Care - both the management and the care-staff carer. My friend is a man with a distinguished past as a Canon of the Church now sadly diminished by Alzheimer's. His carer has been wonderfully sympathetic and understanding, as well as providing super nourishing meals. When the care first began, the wee cottage I had bought for my friend was still being renovated and conditions were far from ideal but the carer buckled down and soon made the place warm, cosy and comfortable. My friend had been for five years - at vast expense - in a local care home. Many of the staff there were very pleasant but it is an altogether different experience for him being in his own home, Even in his sleep (which is frequent) he now smiles! The management team have been very helpful and supportive - also knowledgeable about the various hoops one has to go through to get further support. I thoroughly recommend Guardian Live-In Care and only wish I had started using them earlier.

Overall Experience

My uncle is new to receiving live-in care. The care team's communications with our family members keeping us updated on his well-being has been very reassuring for us as a family who do not live nearby. Uncle is happy and definitely more settled since his live-in care team started. He tells us he feels safe and feels very cared for he says his new carers are fantastic! We came up to visit and they are really are fantastic! This care provider uses a person-centred approach with my uncle's needs centred at the heart of what they do. The care manager regularly pops in on my uncle checking in on him and having that all-important social interaction with him having a chat and brewing, my uncle says makes him feel valued and heard! This has definitely contributed to Uncle's now more upbeat and positive emotional well-being. From his family, we do appreciate the care you deliver to our uncle remaining professional in a caring and all-important person-centred way. Thank you
