Mum had a double eye operation. She lives alone and we support as a family to enable her to live independently. After the operation she needed drops every 4 hours and we were unable to make this work with busy lives.
We contacted Aptine care for help and Freda and her team were supportive , kind and very professional.
Mum has done well and the visits were more than just a quick eye drop they were reassurance for us all.
We would definitely use services again.
We currently have 4 visits per week - Monday 7.00am 45 mins, 12 noon 30 mins walk

The carers from Aptine provide wonderful live-in care for my mother, who requires full-time attention because of advanced dementia. They have treated her with empathy and respect and have been highly supportive during what has been a difficult time. Highly recommended.
Excellent team, met 4 of them. Always on time, but took time with me. I have a PMD (Giant dog), all Ok with her, but two a little nervous and took teasing :-) Cheap, helpful and friendly too :-). Was temperary fillin while main carer away on first holiday in 17 years!
My elderly mother needed live-in care at very short notice. The manager and her team came to the rescue and my mother was extremely happy with the nurse that came and stayed with her. Aptine care services are highly professional with very kind and reliable staff and because it is run by experienced nurses, I felt like we received personal care for my mother.
The care company has been brilliant. Ensuring the right carer with empathy, kindness, and compassion has always delivered. The manager has been marvellous- supporting us throughout this process. I highly recommend using them.
We received wonderful care for my elderly grandmother who needed waking night care. The manager and her team are knowledgeable, reliable, trustworthy and kind with a fun sense of humour. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing care for their loved ones.
I was worried and distressed when I had a cyst infection that burst at 3 a.m. on March 3rd. I am not very good with technology but I found Aptine Ltd online. I was relieved to receive an email very early in the morning. Shortly after I received a visit. I have had daily punctual visits. If I need to go out the time of the appointment time is flexible. All members of the team have been reassuring and caring. I have highly recommended Aptine to many friends and acquaintances.
The service is for my granddad because he lost a lot of mobility and needed 24-hour care provided by 2 live-in staff members on a 4-day rotation.
Used service for 3 months.
Very pleased with the service provided to my disabled son. The carers are very polite and caring. Arrive on time and get on with the care plan without any issues. Nothing worries them about my son's condition.
I once had to change plans and travel over Christmas and the staff were flexible coming to the aid last minute and supporting all.
Very good and professional service.
Aptine were the only available qualified nursing care providers in the locality that responded to our call for assistance. They responded swiftly with great care and attention to detail, spending time with the service user and the family to assess our needs. The service was professional, friendly and ultimately very effective in terms of nursing care.
