Orchid carers have been looking after me since August 2025, and every one of them are very patient with me. I appreciate being given a fourth carer now to assist me to go to bed

Everyone is so kind and caring. They are very chatty, follow instructions and brighten my mum's day. The carers are like family to us and that's what we want them to feel like, that they can be safe and happy while working. They are also very understanding of my mum's condition and do their absolute best to make sure she is completely comfortable.

After a fall and hospital stay in November 2024, it was suggested that my Mum needed to go into a home- but she didn't want this, and personally I supported her being at home with help. How lucky were we to have Orchid Wellness recommended to us? I had no experience with care, and Mum had always been reluctant to accept any help. It has been such a success- here we are 18 months later, and Mum is still at home and recieving the best care. As other reviewers have said, the carers and most importantly their manager, Rudo, are so caring and positive. All the contact I have had is exemplary and I have total trust in them. What makes Orchid stand out is the focus on making their clients feel empowered and building their confidence, whilst taking personal interest in them, treating them and their families with so much care and respect. Rudo is so easy to talk to and has such a can do attitude . The fact that she is personally involved with the clients makes such a difference. Thank you!

Orchid Care have been coming in 4 times a day as my husband, who has dementia, has been unwell. The carers wash & dress him & are so kind & patient. If I have any worries i can speak to them about John. Nothing is too much trouble. They are always cheerful & dedicated. Their manager Rudo is always helpful & has time for me if i need to ask or change anything..I would totally recommend them.

Orchid Wellness has been caring for my parents who are in their 90s, for several months.
I found them to be so compassionate and gentle, as well as experienced carers. Leah, Chidu, Glenda, Sophie, Beloved, Rejoice to name but a few, are amazing. Nothing was too much for them.
Rudo, the manager, was always helpful during telephone enquiries and always kept in touch.
We are sad to lose these wonderful people and would 100% recommend them.

Orchid Care were only onboard with us for a short while, but in the time that they were there, they went above and beyond in looking after my dad. He had a main live in carer who was absolutley fantastic, but all the carers that came to assist were also so lovely and supportive. My Sister and i will always be eternally grateful for the kindness and care you showed when looking after our dad. You were also such a huge support to us as well in what we found to be a very difficult and traumatic time.
Rudo, (Manager), was just the most professional, compassionate and kind person we could ever wish to meet. She could see that as a family we were in desperate need of help, and she just put everything in place for us within hours, giving us huge peace of mind and allowing us to spend dads final days with him as his daughters.

I would highly recommend this company to anybody

The team at Orchid Care have been absolutely exceptional in looking after my mum. Their care, kindness, and support have gone far beyond what we could have ever hoped for. Every member of the team is compassionate, caring, and always willing to help - they've truly made a positive difference in our lives, and I'm so deeply grateful for everything they do. There are two particular carers who have been incredibly supportive to Mum, my sister, and me (you know who you are) - your kindness will never be forgotten. Although Mum has now had to move into a care home, the support we received from Orchid Care throughout that difficult process was outstanding. Both the care team and the management went above and beyond to ensure Mum's safety and well-being, checking in with us regularly and offering reassurance when we needed it most.

The team are fabulous. The manager is brilliant, helpful, empathetic and very responsive. Even in an evening when I needed a carer urgently.
The carers are so lovely. They were so so kind to my sister. They only needed taking through things once. They truly cared for her and gave me such peace of mind. They sat and chatted with my sister, had a laugh with her and even played games with her. But they also had to cope with a lot and they did so with a smile on their face always. Nothing was too much trouble.

I cannot recommend them highly enough. My sister was only with us for 5 weeks whilst her husband recovered from an illness. I will definitely employ their services again without a second thought.

I could not ask for a better team to be looking after my grandmother. She is treated with the utmost dignity and respect but above all else. Overall Experience

We had care to try and help my father stay in his home. The carers went in four times a day to help with personal care, helping with food preparation and administering medication. Until he was admitted to hospital in December.
Despite quite alot of opposition from my father they worked vey hard to meet his needs.

His main carer went above and beyond caring for Dad. Even wanting to try and continue to care for him when he came out of hospital. He is has now had to go into a care home.
