Everyone is so kind and caring. They are very chatty, follow instructions and brighten my mum's day. The carers are like family to us and that's what we want them to feel like, that they can be safe and happy while working. They are also very understanding of my mum's condition and do their absolute best to make sure she is completely comfortable.

After a fall and hospital stay in November 2024, it was suggested that my Mum needed to go into a home- but she didn't want this, and personally I supported her being at home with help. How lucky were we to have Orchid Wellness recommended to us? I had no experience with care, and Mum had always been reluctant to accept any help. It has been such a success- here we are 18 months later, and Mum is still at home and recieving the best care. As other reviewers have said, the carers and most importantly their manager, Rudo, are so caring and positive. All the contact I have had is exemplary and I have total trust in them. What makes Orchid stand out is the focus on making their clients feel empowered and building their confidence, whilst taking personal interest in them, treating them and their families with so much care and respect. Orchid Care have been coming in 4 times a day as my husband, who has dementia, has been unwell. The carers wash & dress him & are so kind & patient. If I have any worries i can speak to them about John. Nothing is too much trouble. They are always cheerful & dedicated. Rudo, (Manager), was just the most professional, compassionate and kind person we could ever wish to meet. She could see that as a family we were in desperate need of help, and she just put everything in place for us within hours, giving us huge peace of mind and allowing us to spend dads final days with him as his daughters.

The team at Orchid Care have been absolutely exceptional in looking after my mum. Their care, kindness, and support have gone far beyond what we could have ever hoped for. Every member of the team is compassionate, caring, and always willing to help - they've truly made a positive difference in our lives, and I'm so deeply grateful for everything they do. There are two particular carers who have been incredibly supportive to Mum, my sister, and me (you know who you are) - your kindness will never be forgotten. The carers are so lovely. They were so so kind to my sister. They only needed taking through things once. They truly cared for her and gave me such peace of mind. They sat and chatted with my sister, had a laugh with her and even played games with her. But they also had to cope with a lot and they did so with a smile on their face always. Despite quite alot of opposition from my father they worked vey hard to meet his needs.
