VCare Professionals Ltd provide home care services in Bolton, Manchester, Wigan, Chorley area. The Team will provide a comprehensive support solution that will be tailored where necessary to best suit the individual needs of each of service user. The list of activities below represents the key areas of support that the team offer to service users. A service user’s care plan is produced through consultation with each care user, their families and authorised persons and includes information about the client's care needs, wishes, preferences and personal goals.

•         Dressing and undressing
•        Bathing, washing, shaving and oral hygiene
•        Toilet and continence requirements
•        Manual handling
•        Handling personal possessions and documents
•        Pad changes
•        Eating and meals preparation
•        Getting up and going to bed
•        Listening and talking to people is regarded as an important part of delivering care. The team can assist the client to keep in touch with their friends and relatives, with letters, telephone calls etc.
•        Assistance with planning and shopping
•        Assistance with paying bills
•        Participating in social activities
•        Cleaning and housework
•        Assistance with laundry and ironing

Specialist tasks:

There are aspects of the service that require staff to have specific experience or training NVQ 3 diplomas in social care to ensure they are able to undertake such tasks.

Tasks requiring specialist training or experience include:
•        Catheter care – changing bags, monitoring output and emptying bags
•        Assistance with eye or ear drops
•        Medication
