Overall Experience

I engaged Unicorn to care for my dad at home after he became ill. My dad was frail with limited mobility and had recently been catheterised.
Dad was scared and proud and didn't want to accept help with his personal care. However the friendly, caring approach displayed by Unicorn staff soon won him over. They quickly developed a rapport with him, earning his trust and they delivered the care to him that he needed.

I would definitely recommend Unicorn to others needing a personalised care service.

My mother has enjoyed the care she has received from Unicorn and enjoys the company of the 2 carers who predominantly attend because of their friendly nature.

They are prompt on timing and are flexible with my mum's needs.

Overall Experience

My parents value highly the regular care visits and the family are comforted to know that they are being closely monitored. Of particular note was the recent full day out at a family wedding, which would have been difficult to arrange without the attendance of the two Unicorn carers. The attention to my parents' needs throughout the day was noted and greatly appreciated.

Although my journey with Unicorn Healthcare Services got off to a rocky start things have now settled down and I am supported by a lovely lady who is very caring, understanding and has my welfare and safety at the forefront of her mind. Overall Experience

Unicorn have provided both home health care and advocate/visitation services while my mom was struggling at home (alone) and then (after a fall) through the various hospital admissions and a terrible admission and stay in a respite care home. Unicorn facilitated the move to a long-term care facility. Mom is finally in a place that is qualified and able to care for her and still Unicorn are there to facilitate that transition and to support Mom until she settles. It has been a harrowing journey and we could not have managed without Unicorn.

In a word, caring.

Overall Experience

This is our first experience of home care needed for my husband who requires a high level of service from the staff who are flexible to his needs. Unicorn Healthcare Services from the beginning have shown that this type of service they give. The staff are pleasant, respectful, understanding, well trained and obviously dedicated to their work.
