Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5
We have been very pleased with the care provided and the friendliness of the staff. Everything appears to be running smoothly and my sister gets on very well with the carers who visit. It is a great relief as Anne fought me for a long time on the issue of having help. I am so glad it is working well
as I did have my reservations to start with as the organisation of setting up the contract seemed a little haphazard. I was having to re supply information to different members of the team, which left me rather anxious as to whether they had a handle on Anne's medication, but as I say I have been nothing but pleased with the care and empathy we have received.

Waverly provided excellent care for my Uncle, he looked forward to the twice daily visits and always said how nice the carers were and how helpful and caring they were. Waverly were very responsive and completely understanding when visits had to be suspended due to hospitalisation and always called
to check on how he was progressing to ensure the visits would be reinstated as soon as he was discharged.
I have never had any previous experience of carers but if this is the standard of services provided across the sector, then wonderful.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.828 for Waverly Care Services Ltd is calculated as follows: ( (24 Excellents x 5) + (5 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 29 Ratings = 4.828

Job Title: Registered Manager Joined: 2023

I’m Isaac Ncube, with over 20 years of experience in Health and Social Care, my background spans NHS hospitals, domiciliary care, and elderly nursing homes, all supported by a strong professional record. Over the years, I’ve developed the skills, experience, and leadership necessary to manage high-quality domiciliary care services effectively.
My career has shaped my ability to manage care services efficiently and with compassion. As a Social Worker for over seven years, I gained valuable experience in care planning, safeguarding, and working with multidisciplinary teams. As a Team Lead, I managed and supervised social workers, coordinated care packages, and ensured compliance with best practices. I developed strong skills in risk assessment, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance, ensuring care was tailored to individual needs while meeting CQC and local authority standards. Working alongside GPs, district nurses, and dietitians strengthened my ability to provide truly holistic care. Leading and mentoring staff allowed me to support professional growth and maintain high service standards.
Before transitioning into social work, I spent 12 years as a Care Assistant, including three years as a Senior Carer and Team Lead. These roles gave me a deep understanding of frontline care and the challenges faced by both staff and service users. I provided hands-on care, supporting individuals with personal care, mobility, and medication management. I also gained experience in workforce planning, managing rotas, handling on-call duties, and ensuring care continuity. Training and mentoring staff was an essential part of my role, ensuring that new carers felt supported and confident in delivering high-quality care. Building strong relationships with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals was also key, as communication is at the heart of great care.
Having worked in both frontline and leadership roles, I bring a well-rounded approach to managing domiciliary care services. My experience allows me to balance operational efficiency with a strong focus on quality, safety, and person-centred care. As Registered Manager, I am committed to maintaining high standards by drawing on my expertise in risk management, compliance, and leadership. Supporting and developing my team is a priority, ensuring staff are well-trained, motivated, and able to provide exceptional care. I also believe in strong collaboration with healthcare professionals, local authorities, and families to enhance service delivery. Staying up to date with best practices and regulatory changes is key to continuous improvement, and I am dedicated to ensuring our care provision remains outstanding.
At Waverly Care Services Ltd, my goal is to create a service that not only meets but exceeds expectations, ensuring our clients receive the best possible care while supporting our staff to thrive in their roles.
