In my experience, Fernsby Brookes has provided polite carers who are willing to help in various ways around my home, as well as offering companionship.
The carers help me by supporting me to be as independent best as possible. I am unable to do many jobs around the house. I rely on the support services provided and I am satisfied with the good level of service and care provided. I also really appreciated their company as I am isolated due to my health. They are good people with a good heart.Thank you.
It's an excellent servie. The carers are all kind, respectful, patient and upbeat. They allow my daughter to take the lead. They are all friendly and lift all of our spirits after the visit. They are on time and dependable. There is a small team of carers and we know all of them which is very important. Overall excellent.
My daughter has been supported by Fernsby Brookes for about 7 months now and in that time her support has been excellent in every respect, from the management team to the individual PA's they all thoroughly professional. They have very good understanding of my daughters complex needs and do all that they can to ensure her needs are met daily. They are friendly, approachable and my daughter is very happy with her daily support.
My wife has had dementia for many years. As her condition worsened, I was no longer able to cope and started looking for some help at our home. It was a shot in the dark, choosing Fernsby, but a good one; my wife's needs are complex, but the carers met the many challenges she presented. Continuity of care was important to me, and in the 18 months, there were only a few times when her primary carer was unavailable.
Fernsby were flexible; if I needed extra care, they would do their utmost to provide it. When I needed to alter her schedule, they went to considerable trouble to alter theirs. But what I valued most was the quality of care. I often see carers sitting in parks or cafes absorbed by their phones, but I always felt that hers were devoted to making her happy. They gave us another 18 months at home, and I will always be grateful for that time. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
As soon as my sister needed care, the Fernsby Brookes team stepped in to provide this in the most helpful, good-natured and appropriate manner. I am so grateful to you all. Despite being very ill my sister looked forward to her carer's visits, and I was always able to contact them. The team showed great sensitivity and good humour, and I felt reassured by their care. I am very grateful for your help. You made a very difficult situation bearable and helped so much in the good outcome. Thank you.
Very helpful for my parents. High quality service, recommended a good physio and always took good care of them. Would definitely recommend. Great people, very communicative and good value for money too.
Since Covid, my son's care provider has become increasingly incompetent. It was therefore a huge relief to find that Fernsby Brookes are able to provide an excellent service, replacing the previous provider with diligent, friendly and hard-working staff who my son gets on well with. In the broader sense, their approach has been thorough and business-like. Very professional and well-run business.
This ensures I have enough energy to be a good parent and reduces the amount of pain I am in.
The carer has settled in really well and is a lovely 'addition' to our household.
It was important to us to find someone who would fit in and get on with what needed to be done and I think this has been achieved.
Very pleased with the service. My son enjoys his support workers' company. She is very punctual and always polite. All staff that we have been involved with are friendly and all correspondence has been excellent.
They were wonderful with my mother and made sure she got everything that she wanted and took her out for the time slot. She looked forward to their visits and got on very well with the support team. They were very attentive and professional and met my mum's every need.
They are punctual and happy to help with any extra tasks that might be needed.
I also appreciated them raising suggestions for improvements.
