Mum now needs 24-hour care due to her dementia, COPD and cancer. The carer is very good with Mum and they've built up and nice relationship and routine which is very reassuring for us. We're very happy to recommend Duty Care to anyone who needs care in the home.
We have been using Duty Care to provide live-in care for Mum for the last six months, and are very happy with the cover provided. From the start of the contract Duty Care staff have been friendly and informative, communicating effectively re start dates and provision of relief cover. The care provided has been very good, the whole process as an end-user has been painless. We now have reassurance that Mum is looked after 24/7, and the Duty Care package has enabled Mum to stay in her own home, surrounded by the familiar. We are very pleased with the care provided by this company.
Two carers were provided. Both rubbish, badly vetted, completely unqualified and lacking in any care whatsoever. My wife fell in the night and badly gashed her head. The “carer” said it was not her responsibility to remedy this. Do not use this agency if you want your nearest and dearest looked after!
