The care that my Dad receives from the team is fantastic, they have such a great time and they really do put a smile on his face. It puts my mind at ease to know that he gets quality check ins each week, and relieves the stress from my shoulders. They were so helpful taking Dad to appointments, helping him with shopping, and even taking him out for coffees to celebrate his birthday. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. The level of care provided has been of a high standard from the beginning of the relationship. Any issues arising have been dealt with quickly and efficiently. Harrington Homecare provided care for my father when he became less stable on his feet and needed help with his morning routine (washing, dressing, preparing breakfast etc). Using their services for over a year, my father and the family were really pleased with the care Harringtons provided. We liked the fact that they are a smaller and more local care provider. In some ways they went above and beyond what was expected. My father had been a bit wary of having extra support to begin with but it quickly became apparent that he began to enjoy the friendly company of the carers. Over the period we used Harringtons there were inevitably different staff that visited but my father said each one was good and knew their job. The Care App they provided was useful for keeping in touch with any issues following daily visits.

My mother has been using the services of Harrington Homecare now for over 4 months, she loves her carers and really enjoys the companionship visits. All of the care and assistance that Harrington offers my mum has really given me the freedom to step back somewhat in the help that I used to provide to my mother. It has changed our relationship for the better, and I feel that I can now be a daughter again, rather than just a care support to my mother. I would not hesitate to recommend Harrington, they really are absolutely excellent, I would be lost without them. Thank you.

Harrington have provided us with several live-in carers over the last twelve months. They were all excellent, and adapted quickly to our circumstances and unusual dietary choices. They were kind, smart and considerate and kept my wife happy, engaged with life and, most of all, completely safe.

Although I am only currently receiving companionship visits, I have benefited from many of their services and obviously had close relationships in their care of my wife for more than six months, leading to her death in June last year. I would have no problem in recommending Harrington Homecare to anybody in search of home care. Staff are great, both in skills/experience and relationship. Much of their success lies in the regular involvement of senior staff & management in all cases. My only 'negative' comment lies with the high costs of the service, but as the Americans would say, for high levels of service one has to pay top dollar!

Harrington's visit my mother a few days every week to ensure she is getting up, eating and hydrating. The carers are very friendly and help out with washing, making the bed and putting out the rubbish.

I am very happy with the quality of the care that Dad enjoys and am hugely grateful to Harrington for everything they have done so far. When he first came out of the hospital he had lost a lot of his enthusiasm for life, but the combination of his physical needs being taken nicely taken care of and the fact that the carers take a real interest in him, providing conversation and genuine companionship, has been restorative. He isn't as mobile or as independent as he used to be but he has a good life nonetheless. In addition, I have been impressed by how well-managed the service is, there is great attention to detail and a high level of respect for both Dad as an individual and his family - we adore him and he deserves the best.

Harrington Homecare provided an excellent, personalized service and importantly provided a very high level of support during the end-of-life phase of Mum's life. Harrington Homecare dealt effectively with the GP, pharmacy, and other NHS and social services on behalf of the family, leaving us free to enjoy our visits with Mum. Mum's carers made every effort to individualise her care and give her the best possible quality of life, including going out regularly when it was still possible, making sure Mum looked nice, that she enjoyed her meals and ate well, that she was stimulated and met different people, etc. I felt confident that all the details of Mum's care were dealt with and that she was well looked after in her own home.

We can’t thank the team at Harrington Care enough. They are incredibly kind, friendly, caring and efficient. They take such good care of our mum and dad. Nothing is too much trouble, they look out for them and contact us if they have any concerns. We’re kept up to date daily via an app. Our mum and dad are completely comfortable with the carers coming in and supporting them and the team has put my mum and dad at ease from the beginning. I was quite lost in my search for a reliable, professional care provider, for my mother who has mild dementia. Having had a rather negative experience beforehand, it was a great relief to come into contact with Harrington Homecare. From the start, I felt they really understood the issues and what was important for us as a family. Our situation is complex, but nonetheless, they supported us every step of the way, with Mum as their priority. They always paid attention to Mum and engaged her in activities focussing on her interests. They would notice any change and notify us without delay. Harrington Home have been absolutely brilliant. After my dad died they have been so helpful in looking after mum. It helps me get back some of my own life back and have time away. They are so flexible and fit in around what suits us from getting mum up and making sure she has the right medication to putting her to bed at the end of the day. I would be truly lost without their help.
