I like the carers I am familiar with - Aya, Rebecca, Sue in particular. I have had a lot of new people recently and that makes me nervous. I would prefer a smaller number of regulars.
Kind Regards
Karen
Both Mum and I are very happy with the service provided by Bluebird. All staff that we have come into contact with have been friendly, helpful and professional and we have always experienced quick response times.
Thankyou very much for your review. This is much appreciated and helps other families find high quality Home care for their loved ones.
We recently moved care companies after moving my mother from Ravenshead to Mansfield. This company seemed very efficient in setting up the contract. When the contract eventually began - albeit it was delayed due to tenants not moving out of the house intime and they were very accommodating with this. They certainly aren't a care company I would expect for my mother, the carers are very young - there was a total lack or correspondence between carers. There seemed to be a massive communication error from the office that was not actually letting the carers know which was not the carers faults at all, when I complained I was told it was because it was a weekend - this should not be an excuse no matter what day it is. Medication was not given and it was a drug error that it was just completely missed. I moved within 4 days elsewhere. Wouldn't recommend at all.
We sincerely apologize for the significant communication issues you experienced during the start of your mother's care. We recognize that beginning this package on a weekend, while our office team was participating in a major charity event led to an unacceptable level of support and coordination...
I had a very pleasent good experiece friendly helpful.
Thank you for your review. We are glad to hear that you are satisfied with our services.
Very good at all times. helpful when asked.
Thank you so much for your review. We are glad we can help.
On setting up Carer's visits we hoped to have "wet shave, shower and hair wash" twice a week. Unfortunately we found that a wet shave would not be possible because of use of blade and health and safety issues. The carer who came for the two visits was genuinely a pleasant person and very efficient in both the job and cleaning up afterwards, but without the shave we felt we could continue with shower and hair wash satisfactorily ourselves and decided to opt out at the present time. Maybe we will need to start again later as and when further needs develope.
Thank you for your time leaving such a lovely review. Thank you for welcoming our carer in your home and feel free to contact us any time you need assistance.
Always on time.

They are very professional
I would highly recommend them to all my friends and family
We truly appreciate your feedback and are glad to know our carers are meeting your expectations.
The care is so much personal than being in a care home and it allows her to stay in her own home.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Im delighted to know that your mom is happy with the care she is receiving. Our team strives to provide the best possible support, and its rewarding to know that our efforts are making a positive impact on her experience.
Although it's early days, Mother confirms that the staff are friendly and efficient as well as punctual, caring and health and safety conscious. So far she's very pleased with the service she's getting and doesn't have anything negative to say.
It is nice to hear your mum is happy with our services. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. Your kind words mean a lot to us and we are grateful for your support. Its wonderful to know that you are happy with our services!
On meeting my mum, they made her feel very comfortable and were very thorough on wanting to meet her needs.
Mum's care started this week and she appears to be happy and adapting well to all of the changes. I've asked Mum's opinion and she said her carer is very nice.
Thank you for taking the time to leave this lovely review. We are so pleased to have made an emotional time a little easier for you.
From the first online chat to the initial contact with the manager and all through this process I can't fault the manager for her excellent service. She's been so good at keeping in touch and getting the whole story from us about what our parent's needs were then sorting out their care package to suit them and help take the pressure off the family. She's been amazing. What is also great is that the carer is the same person each time and is getting to know my parents so that if things are not right on a visit she will recognise this straight away. This is in contrast to carers for my father-in-law in Scotland where different carers all the time meant things did get missed and he has ended up in hospital twice because of it. It really is an excellent service from the first contact right through. Would highly recommend it.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. I am very pleased that you are happy with the service you are receiving. It is so important for us to have continuity of staff to ensure a high-quality service.
We contacted Bluebird Care on a recommendation from a work colleague of mine who already uses them. I am so glad that we did contact them. The Manager came out to meet Mum and Dad initially just for a chat and to find out about them and there needs and what would improve their day-to-day quality of life. After speaking to the manager, they 100% decided that yes they needed help and found the manager a very caring and trusting person. So the manager got the ball rolling. She brought the carer round to meet Mum and Dad the next week and she has now been going for nearly a month. Mum and dad think she is wonderful and very caring and most importantly they feel very comfortable with her in the house and trust her and she does a great job. The nice thing is now we are with them if we need extra hours or extra help we only have to ask them. We are very happy with how the first month has gone so thank you! It also made a big difference to my life as I was doing all the jobs before.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for us, we appreciate it. Your kind words will be passed to our care expert who I know will be thrilled! I'm so glad the care is making a difference to you too.
In the short time she has been coming, I am very happy with her performance. She is so very pleasant and friendly and always on time. As my husband and I age, we will need more assistance in the house but at present, we only need 1 hour a day as we have an excellent lady who cleans the house every Tuesday. I, at present, am able to do light duties like preparing meals etc.
Thank you for taking the time to send this review. We are so pleased that we are able to make a difference to you both.
The Mansfield team for Bluebird Care has been excellent in supporting my dad over the past two months. It has made it easier for him to move in with me and settle quickly. Personalised and responsive are the two words that sum up the service we have received. Professional approach of the team in dealing with nuanced and specialist requirements, including language and cultural issues has been exemplary. Thank you!
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for us. We are so happy to hear you and your dad are pleased with the care and support he is receiving.
My dad loves the two ladies that take it in turn each week to bathe him. They go above and beyond just bathing him. The bed is made. They rub him with cream, do his hair and make tea. My father is more than happy with the service. I talk frequently with the management and they bend over backwards to meet my needs. It is one less stress taken from me, it's great.
