I'm Chantelle, a Mum of 2 little girls with over 15 years background in management and social care; holding qualifications in person-centred care, care planning, scheduling, risk assessments, accounting, moving and handling, medication, safeguarding and training.
I initially came into the care world after my Grandad became very poorly and I assisted in his support and was present to see his deterioration as well as the barriers faced around accessing suitable care at home.
Ever since he passed it has driven me to make a difference wherever possible in the lives of those who need it; from cleaning to a coffee and a chat to full personal care support - with everything in between. My mission, which is encompassed by Dependable Care's core values, is to enable individuals to live at home, as per their wishes, safely and as independently as possible. As a passionate advocate for those who need it, I'll regularly be known to be on and off phone calls to the doctor's surgery or insisting on the urgency of referrals to make sure my clients receive the support they need in a timely manner.
