When my Father was suddenly taken ill and diagnosed with cancer, we were put in touch with a lovely lady manager from Becoming Care, who arranged everything for us very swiftly. She came to meet my Father with a friendly male carer and both seemed very caring, professional and empathetic. The male carer came for an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening over a course of a week before my Dad had to go into Hospice for end of life care. The carer was very kind, gentle and attentive towards my Dad, and even made time to talk to him about family, interests and hobbies which my Dad enjoyed and helped him feel more at ease and comfortable. Anything we needed was no trouble and having a man to physically help with lifting and supporting my Dad was a huge help and relief. The lovely manager was quick to arrange anything and always gave helpful advice whenever we needed it. I'm incredibly grateful to the team at Becoming Care for all they did for us during that very difficult time!
A great service, highly recommended.
Dear David, Thank you so much for you amazing review we are so grateful and giving us the opportunity to care for you is a breath of fresh air you are a cheerful gentleman.
It is quite scary when you are looking for carers for the first time but they are so professional they soon dispelled any concerns I had and formed amazing relationships with my parents.
Thank you!
Thank you so much Jill for your Amazing review, we were so happy to have met your family all lovely, caring and always willing to help when we needed you, that made our work so much enjoyable and easy. We wish you all the best and you will always be with us. Thank you once again
The team adapted well to my wife's requirements
Most staff introduced themselves, which was appreciated. I feel ALL staff should understand the value of this
Thank very much for the review, and for giving us the opportunity to take care of wife. We are grateful and wish well.
I cannot recommend Becoming Care Services highly enough. After a spell in hospital the decision was taken Mum would require daily home care. We chose Becoming Care following an initial meeting with Ruth in hospital. Mum's discharge was delayed however following discharge the care team immediately bonded with Mum and treated her with kindness, patience and utter respect. The care my mother was shown was exemplary. Mum was discharged from hospital and expected to be with us for a long time. Unfortunately she developed an infection which resulted in her demise. During the final days the care team remained compassionate and without them the last days would have been unthinkable. If you are looking for care then contact Becoming Care
We are overwhelmed with joy and happiness, that we were able to provide care for your Mum with satisfaction. It is just unfortunate that we met for a short time. Taking care for loved ones, has taught us that life is unpredictable, so we just have to appreciate the time we have with our loved ones. Once again thank you so much Carolyn for the amazing feed back we very grateful.
