My father has been receiving personal care from the Mavin care team for just over 6 months now. He is in the late stages of dementia and, at times, due to his illness can be a bit resistant. The care manager at Mavin and his team treat my father with dignity and kindness and over time have built up a rapport with him. They reassure my dad speaking softly with kindness and are competent and thorough.
I am very grateful for this as it also helps my mum as team members check in with mum and are vigilant of her own well-being as well as that of my father. I really value the teams care support as dementia is such a heart breaking illness gradually taking away the loved ones mental & physical capabilities right before your eyes so having a trusted care provider that goes the extra mile means such a lot to me & my family. Thank you for everything you do for my parents.

We have been using Mavin Care for the last couple of months and all the staff have been amazing. Mum has recently been diagnosed with moderate Alzheimer's but is still well enough to stay in her own home. She's able to maintain this level of independence because Mavin Care staff are so kind and helpful. They come in several times a day during the week, and all day at weekends. It's normally the same 2 ladies, so mum is familiar with them and doesn't worry about having to deal with new faces. If we need to change times/ cover requirements they have always been flexible and accommodating.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mavin Care to others who need that extra level of support.

We have had Mavin care since December 2024 and myself my sister and my mother who is there Client, have been very impressed with the carers and the care they have provided. They are courteous kind caring and above all professional. They have maintained sending the same carers into my mother as they knew following her stroke having the same face would help ease her into excepting the care .
I didn't think I would be able to trust carers to look after my mother but I have been proved wrong they do an excellent job and I no longer need to check things as often as I did and they call me if there is any slight issue . We will be staying with them for a long time we hope and have no plans to change a 5 star approach to care.

We are very happy with the service provided. After starting with the out-of-hospital care service, it was such a relief to have one named carer for my dad on all but the days off, a consistent time, and a service that is responsive to our needs rather than being told what we have to have. Having a named carer helps my dad with consistency, he knows who is coming and what to expect. He requested a male carer, which Mavin Care could provide, and he is very quiet, respectful, kind and caring towards my dad. It is hard having to admit strangers into your home, but Mavin Care has made it as easy as possible.

I cannot recommend Mavin Care highly enough. They came to my rescue at such short notice when my Mum needed care. Within days there was a vast improvement in Mum's condition. The carer was very professional, caring and considerate and Mum loved her visits. Mum can be a very stubborn lady but listened and took the advice the carer gave to aid her recovery. 2 weeks later and Mum looks better and is much more mobile than I've seen her for ages, thanks to the care that she gave.
Would definitely use your service again if needed and definitely recommend you to others. Thank you.

My mother was initially very reluctant to agree to carers supporting her in her home when our father had to be admitted to hospital. However, she was soon singing the praises of her wonderful carers, and the family gained tremendous peace of mind knowing that she was being regularly looked after and that her care needs were being met. On several feedbacks, staff from Mavin Care went above and beyond their contractual obligations, such as staying with her for several hours until paramedics arrived after a fall. I have no hesitation in recommending the team at Mavin Care.
