Overall Experience

Verona care is an essential part of my brother's life. Every morning a carer - usually male- comes to help my brother get out of bed in the morning, get washed and dressed, have breakfast and generally set him up for the day. They are always kind, thoughtful and thorough. It is so good for my brother to start the day with a friendly face- and it gives me peace of mind that he is being cared for whilst managing to stay in his own home.

Your professionalism, compassion, and expertise have been truly invaluable. We particularly appreciated your ability to navigate complex family dynamics with such sensitivity, poise, and understanding; it made a challenging period significantly more manageable for all of us.

The patience, dignity, and professionalism demonstrated by the Verona team-even during the most difficult moments-have been nothing short of remarkable. Time and again, the team went above and beyond what was required, often providing support well beyond their normal remit and working additional hours when circumstances demanded it. Their unwavering commitment to the well-being of my aunt and uncle has not gone unnoticed and has been deeply appreciated by our entire family.

Overall Experience

Verona Care provided support for our 89yr old Dad, to enable him to stay living at home. Dad was very frail & had dementia & his needs could change daily. Beatrice (the manager) understood that it was a big thing for Dad to accept help. The carers she provided were flexible & encouraging, allowing Dad to be as independent as possible, but stepping in as more support was needed.
Dad built up a good relationship with the main carers, having a laugh & bit of banter which helped put Dad at ease & he looked forward to their visits. Occasionally Dad had a new carer, Beatrice always came to introduce them to ensure Dad was happy & his needs were met consistently.
Communication with the staff was excellent & we could easily contact them at any time & got regular updates on how Dad was each day. This helped reassure the family that Dad was getting the care he needed, allowing us to spend quality time with him on our visits.

I highly recommend Verona Care & could not have managed without them.

Overall Experience

Verona Home Care initially provided post operative support to my mother following hip replacement surgery. We received expert advice and very friendly diligent service thereafter. Verona Home Care is now a regular part of my parents care plan and we look forward to further support over the coming months after elective surgery which my father will have next month.
