His journey began when his father suffered a heart attack, necessitating the provision of crucial care during his post-episode recovery. While Amit was appreciative of the care his father received, he keenly observed opportunities for enhancement that could have significantly improved his father’s quality of life. He empathetically noticed that at times, the staff delivering the care also required support themselves, considering the substantial time and effort they invested in attending to the needs of others.

Fuelled by these experiences and bolstered by his extensive background in managing staff within business, Amit resolved to embark on a career in social care with a transformative vision.
