Pure River Care is a Leicester-based domiciliary care agency offering support to people in their own homes across the city and surrounding areas. Led by a registered manager with a hands-on approach to care delivery, the agency focuses on building genuine, lasting relationships between care workers and the people they support, with an emphasis on consistency so that familiar faces return visit after visit.
The agency's services span personal care, medication support, meal preparation, companionship, live-in care, night care, and support for individuals with more complex health conditions, including respiratory illness, mobility needs, and conditions requiring two-carer support. Care plans are developed individually with each person and their family, taking into account routines, preferences, and any clinical needs identified by district nursing or hospital teams.
The team works alongside NHS Continuing Healthcare assessors, GPs, and local authority social workers to coordinate care for people with ongoing health needs, and management can be contacted at any time for advice or to discuss changes in circumstances. Anyone exploring home care options in Leicester is welcome to get in touch to discuss how the agency might be able to help.

Welcome to Pure River Care.
I have over 15 years of experience working within health and social care and am a qualified Social Worker. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting older adults, individuals living with dementia, physical disabilities, mental health needs, and those requiring complex care and support.
My professional background has given me extensive experience in assessments, safeguarding, care planning, Mental Capacity Act work, Best Interest decisions, and working closely with families and healthcare professionals to achieve the best outcomes for the people we support.
I founded Pure River Care because I believe everyone deserves compassionate, high-quality care in the place where they feel most comfortable—their own home. I am passionate about helping people maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life while receiving the support they need.
As Registered Manager, I oversee the quality and safety of our services and ensure that every client receives personalised care that is tailored to their individual needs, preferences, and goals.
For me, care is about more than completing tasks—it's about building trust, showing kindness, and making a positive difference in someone's day.

I have over 10 years of experience working across a variety of health and social care settings, supporting people with dementia, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, mental health conditions, autism, learning disabilities, rehabilitation needs, and long-term health conditions.
Over the years, I have learned that no two people are the same. Every individual has their own story, preferences, and goals, which is why I am passionate about delivering truly person-centred care that respects each person's independence and choices.
At Pure River Care, I carry out client assessments, develop care plans, support our care staff, and monitor the quality of care we provide. I work closely with clients and their families to ensure they feel supported, listened to, and confident in the care they receive.
I understand that inviting someone into your home is a big decision. I aim to make that experience as comfortable and reassuring as possible by building genuine relationships based on trust, respect, and open communication.
My goal is simple: to provide the kind of care I would want for my own loved ones—compassionate, reliable, professional, and delivered with dignity at all times.
Together, Ruth and I created Pure River Care with a shared vision of providing exceptional home care that allows people to remain safe, independent, and happy in the comfort of their own homes. We are proud to serve our community and look forward to supporting you and your family.
