Any health issues were noted and we were made aware of so we could act accordingly.
Also, they would always ask my dad how he was doing, to check that he was coping ok, as he did the care in between times when they weren't there. Certainly head and shoulders above some of the larger companies out there. Would certainly call on them again if the need arose.

We prode ourselves in not only providing the care needed for our clients but also supporting the family carers who do most of the work while we are not there. Some of the carers are excellent in every aspect of care. However some do the minimum required, in particular to cleaning and washing up.
It would be good if the carers who have established a trusting relationship could be scheduled to attend the residents on a more frequent basis.
Thank you for your honest review. We are aware of the clients favourites and are working to improve the schedule. We do hoewever like to regularly place a spare carer each week so there is some familiarity to cover the favourite carers holidays and time off. Carers annual appraisals are n9w due so...
I am impressed with the carers they provide a professional service. The majority are experienced, some have worked for NHS and other care companies. They all speak fluent English which is important if you require pain relieve medication. The ambiance is always inviting and comfortable. Pricing is fair and transparent, value for money compared to other local providers. Efficiency, flexibility and punctuality are hallmarks of their service.

Meet the Team (2)
Victoria started Purbeck Personal Assistants in October 2021 when her last employer gave notice to several clients living in Swanage. She decided to support them independently on a self-employed basis and has developed and expanded the business to a point where CQC Registration was required, having 13 employees and over 25 clients being supported.
Victoria has 5 years of previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager and likes to lead by example. She also has over 20 years of experience as a caregiver so is always the backup to support Purbeck Personal Assistants Clients when members of the care team are either on vacation or become unwell.
Zoe joined Purbeck Personal Assistants in July 2023 as a Senior Carer.
Zoe has many years experience of working in the care industry and has achieved her Level 3 Health and Social Care NVQ, Zoe was also a baker in her younger years, so is often asked to assist with baking cakes and scones for our clients.
Zoe is also a full-time Foster Mum for her Niece. Over the past few months as the number of Clients needing our support has grown Zoe has joined the admin team as the Care Coordinator, enabling Victoria to spend more time on her Manager Duties.
