Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Eagle Care Ltd have supported my elderly mother who has complex care needs since her discharge from hospital over 14 months ago following major surgery. Care has been very kind, reliable & flexible, even in extreme (storm) conditions. There has been excellent join-up between client & family, carers
& management at every stage. Everyone follows an ethical, client-centred code & are entirely trustworthy, supporting my mother in her rehabilitation, & working well with other care & medical partners who support her. I cannot recommend Eagle Care Ltd highly enough nor understand why they do not have more clients in West Cornwall. We have used several agencies & they are overwhelmingly the most compassionate & loyal we have found. It will be so sad if Eagle Care Ltd cannot sustain a presence in our locality due to a lack of clients here.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
We are so happy with the service provided by Eagle Healthcare. All the carers we've had have been so friendly and kind. My dad is on end of life care, and they do an excellent job looking after him. They're so efficient, and get him washed and bed changed in no time at all. They are warm, patient and
friendly, and he's always happy to see them. We also met Kennedy, one of the managers, who came to do a spot check and make sure all our needs were being met. He was such a lovely man! Really easy to talk to and happy to listen to our feedback (though we didn't have any complaints!). 5 stars all round. Can't recommend this care company highly enough :)

Current Review Score: 8.5 (8.500)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.5 (8.500) out of 10 for Eagle Healthcare is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 2 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.5 out of 5 from 2 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 5.000 for Eagle Healthcare is calculated as follows: ( (11 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 11 Ratings = 5
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.5 Points for the second and third Positive Reviews, 0.25 Points for each of the next two Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.05, 7th = 0.05, 8th = 0.05, 9th = 0.05, 10th = 0.05, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025)

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Eagle Healthcare is based on 2 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 = 3.5
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
