The service supports older people, individuals living with dementia, people with long-term mental health conditions and those requiring complex or palliative care. Flexible support is available from short visits to overnight and 24-hour live-in care.
Following a detailed home assessment, personalised care plans are developed in partnership with each individual and their loved ones. Support is designed to encourage independence, build confidence and enhance quality of life while ensuring people remain in control of the care they receive.
Services include personal care, assistance with washing and dressing, meal preparation, medication support, companionship, mobility assistance, shopping and errands, respite care, reablement support and accompaniment to healthcare appointments and social activities.
Waverley Carers understands that arranging care can feel overwhelming for individuals and their families. The team offers guidance and reassurance throughout the process, helping families understand care options and funding support during what can often be a stressful and worrying time.
Waverley Carers is committed to delivering high-quality care through a skilled and compassionate team. They are so personal and genuinely caring, whilst being skilled, professional and in line with all regulations for the safety and wellbeing of my vulnerable elderly Mum. Carolyn has listened to our needs with her head AND her heart. I cannot recommend this service more highly. My mum is so much brighter and happier since Waverley Carers have been in her life. And my sister and I, who live far away, have a weight off our shoulders. AND... SO much more reasonable cost-wise than the others!

Her career has spanned hospital, community and care home environments in Scotland and internationally, with a strong focus on supporting older people and individuals living with complex or long-term conditions.
She brings together extensive clinical knowledge with senior leadership experience in areas such as governance, compliance and service quality. Her approach is centred on ensuring care is safe, consistent and delivered with dignity, while also supporting positive outcomes for individuals and their families.
