Mariama Jobarteh
Job Title: Director Joined: 2024Mariama Jobarteh is a dedicated advocate for vulnerable and marginalised communities. Holding a Master’s degree in Sexual and Reproductive Health, she brings a wealth of experience in culturally sensitive, trauma-informed care to her work in the health and social care sector.
Mariama has led initiatives that promote dignity, equality, and inclusive services for diverse communities. Her approach is deeply rooted in understanding individual needs, respecting cultural backgrounds, and addressing sensitive issues such as Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) with compassion and professionalism.
In her work with Jali Care Services, Mariama applies this same commitment to quality and respect in delivering personalised care. She ensures that support is not only tailored to each individual’s health and well-being needs but also responsive to their cultural and emotional realities. Her leadership is guided by the belief that effective care embraces empathy, dignity, and empowerment—values that underpin Jali Care’s mission to provide outstanding, person-centred support to those who need it most.
