This is the first time that I've needed to use any sort of carers, but my mum has reached that time in her life when she needs more than just me popping in, she is 96 to be fair.

I spotted Liddar Care on an advertisement and looked them up on line, although they are not a multi national company and just a local provider they have been EXCELLENT in every way, extremely flexible, the carers, Rose, Sharon, Zoie and Adele have been just lovely with my mum, just so reassuring to know that she is receiving fabulous care. We've adopted the care package a number of times but all done without any hassle, great to have access to an online system which the carers update after each visit is just another level of reassurance.

Overall Experience

We have been very happy with the care my father in law had from the team . The ladies that visited him were so friendly and really encouraged his independence he was made to feel respected and his dignity ensured as much as possible .Everyone was very patient with him as he is determined to manage for himself as much as possible
He himself has asked me to say that found the ladies that came really friendly and chatty and in no way rushed
For now he is back to doing his own personal care but we would not hesitate to ask them back and would definitely recommend them for their patience ,caring attitude and respect

Overall Experience

We have been using Lidder Home Care services for my 90 year old mother, who suffers from Alzheimer's, since November 2025 and cannot fault the service they have given. It has been excellent.
Adele and her team are caring, professional and go that extra mile to look after her. They will take her shopping and out for lunch and make sure she has everything she needs. They even managed to sort out blister packs for her medication, which I could not get a pharmacy to do.
The online system they use lets us log on daily if we want to see what comments the carers have made about that particular day.

I would recommend Lidder Home Care to anyone.

Adele McGregorJob Title Home Care ManagerJoined 2024

Adele joined Lidder Care in June 2024 to implement home care services within the community. She started her career in the care sector in 1990 and has worked her way up from a care assistant to a senior carer and then to a Care Coordinator, gaining valuable experience along the way. Furthering her career, Adele wanted to work with individuals with disabilities before completing her Level 5 Leadership in Management. She then progressed to the Registered Manager of a Housing Association for a supported living service and outreach, where she also set up a successful homecare service.

Her favourite part of the job is meeting the clients and providing outstanding service, with a good team to meet their needs. Outside of work, Adele supports Mansfield Town FC and loves to spend time with her friends and family. Read less

Zoie joined Lidder Home Care in October 2025 to support and coordinate the delivery of care across the service. Zoie returned to the care industry working as a community care assistant for a local homecare company.
