Petranova Care supports older people, individuals living with dementia, physical disabilities, long-term health conditions, Mental Health Support as well as those requiring end-of-life care. Care plans are developed around each individual, promoting dignity, choice and wellbeing while helping people maintain their independence.
Services include personal care, assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility, medication support, companionship, respite care, live-in care and light domestic assistance, such as meal preparation, laundry, shopping and housekeeping.
The team has experience supporting people living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, Parkinson's disease, stroke-related conditions, Huntington's disease, diabetes, sensory impairments, and those requiring catheter or stoma care. Care is delivered with compassion and respect, focusing on both physical and emotional wellbeing.
Petranova Care recognises the importance of building positive relationships with the people it supports. Staff take time to understand each individual's routines, preferences and goals, helping to reduce social isolation and enhance quality of life.
Working closely with families and healthcare professionals where appropriate, the service aims to provide reliable, flexible and responsive care that enables individuals to continue living comfortably and confidently in their own homes.

They treated Mum with utmost respect and became part of our family. It helped us through Avery difficult time knowing that Mum was being so well looked after. Petranova care have been very professional in providing care for my 92 year father. We have used their services for around a year now. The manager has always been there for any queries and help with emergencies and dealt with concerns right away. The agency is small and I was worried that as my dad lives in a rural finding care for him was tricky, but Petranova were there for us - we have never been let down. All the carers are great and my dad has some lovely people that he especially gets on well with although at the beginning he was wary of strangers as he has dementia. He's a private person also grieving the loss of mum with no understanding she has gone. This can be difficult for all of us and the carers are very patient with him. Manager Petra is really helpful, polite and friendly and we have a good relationship. She has helped us with navigating hospital discharge and other tricky situations in a very professional manner - dad's welfare always takes top priority.

I was totally impressed by Petra (manager)as was the Occupational therapist who had facilitated the move to home based care. The carers themselves were considerate,polite & friendly & often offered suggestions to help with my Dad who has Vascular Dementia. The manager responded to requested changes extremely quickly-often at very short notice (when we needed extra period of care etc)so we found the service very flexible. It was clear that the carers that looked after my Dad were well trained and that the manager had instilled in them the need to maintain high standards. Prices were far more reasonable than some larger companies & standard of care was better too.
I really appreciated being put in touch with clients (with similar needs of their loved ones to my Dad)prior to booking Petranova so that I could openly discuss their experience.Needless to say the 2 clients I spoke with could not praise this company highly enough!

The daily care visit from the Petranova team has helped my father gain in confidence and restore some happiness and stability into his life after the death of my mother, who was his principal carer before she fell ill.
The improvement in his health, both mental and physical over the last few months is in no small measure due to the care and support afforded to him by Petranova. I do not hesitate in recommending their services.

Petranova carers go above and beyond the normal standard of care. All carers come in and great my grandfather with a happy and friendly manner, they all seem happy to be there and genuinely care about him.

Petranova carers go above and beyond the normal standard of care. All carers come in and great my grandfather with a happy and friendly manner, they all seem happy to be there and genuinely care about him. The Carers do all hands on care that is needed and with any spare time they have left they will do house chores, like sweeping and washing floors. Put washing on or hang washing outside or on a airer. Strip beds and remake them and so much more. I often leave notes for the cares, asking them to do something for my grandfather and they always do it. Carers also leave me notes or message me if they have any concerns or if my granddad is running out of something, like milk or shower gel. Petranova care have also helped me care for my granddad when I have been unable too, they have picked up extra visits with just a few days notice.

Recently moved my care package to Petranova Care after an awful experience with another company. Petra and her team have ensured a seamless transition without stress or interruption. The carers are brilliant - kind, caring, attentive and it really shows that good management and well supported, happy carers leads to an exceptional level of care. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend, I only wish I'd found them sooner!
