Minimum 60-minute visits. Rates vary by time of day, complexity and travel. Evenings (after 8pm) +£2/hr; weekends +£3/hr; bank holidays 1.5x (Christmas/New Year 2x). Double-up care is charged per carer. Mileage outside a 2-mile radius 45p/mile, plus parking/tolls at cost. Live-in includes up to 10 hours of daytime support with a 2-hour daily break and a private room for the carer; extra hours or waking nights charged separately. Regulated personal care (incl. medication support) is VAT-exempt; non-regulated concierge services priced separately. Bespoke plans follow a free assessment and are reviewed as needs change or annually.

My overall experience of our carer has been first class right from the very first interaction. My parents felt comfortable with their carer from the first meeting and felt that she was very thorough and could provide what they required in the most individual, flexible, caring and sensitive way. The level of care provided has exceeded our expectations. Right from the first visit she has gone above and beyond to assist them both with what was initially required and anything else that has cropped up that they have needed when she has visited. We all agree that this was a necessary step we needed to take and I would not hesitate to recommend SAL Healthcare to anyone requiring a similar type of home care.
