A Senior Social Worker by profession, he has maintained an untarnished record throughout his career, working across a wide range of settings including nursing homes, children’s residential services, NHS hospitals, supported living environments, and domiciliary care.
Kwesi has extensive experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including Social Workers, District Nurses, GPs, and other healthcare professionals. His leadership ensures that staff consistently follow professional recommendations and that care delivery aligns with best practice standards. His background includes expertise in recruitment, staff induction, training, supervision, appraisals, annual reviews, return-to-work interviews, and disciplinary procedures. He is also experienced in rota planning and undertaking on-call responsibilities.
A confident and assertive manager, Kwesi draws on a broad set of transferable skills that underpin the effective day-to-day operation of Potter House Care Ltd. He is skilled in conducting risk assessments, coordinating and reviewing care packages, and leading safeguarding procedures for vulnerable individuals. During her career, Venekai has spent over 6 years in senior leadership positions, working as a Senior Registered Nurse responsible for the supervision and management of multidisciplinary teams consisting of nurses, carers, and student nurse placements. Her role encompassed accountability for ensuring effective standards of care, clinical oversight, and consistent service quality. She has successfully undertaken responsibilities including care planning, recruitment and onboarding of staff, competency-based training and professional development, supervisions, appraisals, return-to-work processes, and performance management, including disciplinary procedures where required.
Venekai has significant experience in safeguarding vulnerable individuals and ensuring that policies, procedures, and working practices comply with regulatory standards and ethical expectations.
