Dawn is a dedicated Registered Manager with extensive experience in overseeing high-quality care and support services, including domiciliary care and supported living. With a passion for delivering exceptional care, she has built a reputation for improving service standards, leading teams, and ensuring that service users receive the best care possible in a safe and supportive environment.

Dawn stepped into the sector in 1998 and found a deep sense of purpose working in nursing care. She quickly came to realise the importance of compassionate leadership in the care sector and embraced the opportunity to make a tangible difference in people’s lives. Over the years, this has become a calling rather than just a job.

As a Registered Manager with a L7 CMI in Strategic Leadership & Management, she has been responsible for managing all aspects of the service, including recruitment and training of staff, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, developing and maintaining relationships with service users and their families, and overseeing the operational delivery of care.

Dawn thrives on building and leading teams, fostering and championing person-centred care practices. Throughout her career, she has developed a deep understanding of the challenges and rewards that come with managing a care service. She is particularly passionate about ensuring that every team member is supported in their role and that clients' needs are met in a way that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being.

Elizabeth is a dedicated Clinical Nurse Co-ordinator with a strong background in acute and critical care. With a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, she has developed extensive experience supporting individuals with complex needs, ensuring they receive safe, effective, and compassionate care in every setting.

Elizabeth began her journey in healthcare while studying Adult Nursing at Edge Hill University, qualifying in 2014. During her training, she worked as a carer within the hospital, building valuable hands-on experience and developing a deep understanding of patient needs. It was during this time that she recognised the importance of delivering care with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Following qualification, Elizabeth worked in a specialist ophthalmology hospital within a surgical theatre environment. She played a key role in supporting surgical teams, ensuring equipment was prepared and functioning, and caring for patients as they recovered from anaesthesia. This experience strengthened her clinical skills and ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Since 2018, Elizabeth has specialised in critical care, supporting patients requiring life support and complex interventions. Alongside her clinical role, she returned to Manchester Metropolitan University to further enhance her knowledge and expertise within the critical care environment, demonstrating her commitment to continuous professional development.

Elizabeth joined Thriving in 2026 as a Clinical Nurse Co-ordinator, where she focuses on coordinating high-quality care, supporting clinical teams, and ensuring the best possible outcomes for service users.

Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys exploring new places and travelling. She also values quiet time, often spending it on Lego projects or going for walks.
