As a Registered Manager, I bring nearly 10 years of experience in the health and social care sector and am passionate about delivering safe, compassionate, and person-centred care. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in dementia care, end-of-life (palliative) care, and domiciliary care, always striving to ensure the people I support receive the highest standard of care with dignity, respect, and kindness.

I believe that great leadership is built on trust, communication, and leading by example. I am committed to creating a positive and supportive environment where both service users and staff feel valued, empowered, and able to thrive. As I begin my journey as a Registered Manager, I look forward to continuing to drive high standards, encourage professional development, and make a positive difference within the service.

Outside of work, I am very family-oriented and spend much of my free time with my fiancé, our wonderful 10-year-old child and my two much-loved cats, who certainly keep life interesting! I also enjoy baking and love getting creative in the kitchen. In my younger years, I was a dancer and proudly represented the Portsmouth School of Gymnastics team as a gymnast, experiences that taught me discipline, resilience, teamwork, and dedication—qualities that continue to shape my approach to leadership and care today.

I have worked in the care sector for over 25 years, building my career from the ground up and gaining experience in almost every aspect of care. I started my journey as a Care Assistant before progressing to Senior Carer, Care Coordinator and eventually Registered Manager, a role I held for over 10 years.

Having worked directly with people receiving care, supported care teams and managed services, I have developed a genuine understanding of what good-quality, person-centred care should look and feel like. I believe that every individual deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion and respect, and that families should feel confident knowing their loved ones are in safe and caring hands.

I now work as a Business Development Manager, where I am passionate about helping people and families find the right care and making sure they receive a service that genuinely meets their needs. I enjoy building relationships with clients, families and professionals and helping our care service grow while maintaining the high standards I have always valued throughout my career.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my dog, shopping, and making the most of my free time with family and friends. I believe bringing a friendly, approachable and caring personality to what I do is just as important as having the right professional experience. Read less
